In the email I sent I told him that, as CEO he should be considering his position. -

Keep that Gallows Humour coming - I have a feeling we are going to need lots of it over the coming weeks. -

How different is this to the Brereton deal in terms of the contracts? Brereton was here on loan until January when we were obligated to buy him so technically he was still a Forest player for the first six months of his deal. In the January his permanent Rovers contract would have been signed but would the detail of that contract have been agreed in August and submitted to the EFL? I genuinely don't know but it feels like there are some parallels and if so there should have been the requisite experience to deal with it. -

Wasn't it DJ Campbell? We were doing a permanent deal which had to become a loan (with a commitment to buy) because they couldn't fax the documents off because the machine was broken - allegedly. I think that is what happened. -

Here is Waggott's email address for anybody who wants to contact him (his secretary gets them first to screen them). I think they are obliged to reply within a stated time as per the Customer Charter. swaggott@rovers.co.uk If anyone is writing to him please keep it free from profanities and personal abuse. He really needs to know the way we feel about this. I am going to email him now. -

I really wish you'd have a night off. You can sense people's anger and frustration and your are pouring fuel on to a simmering fire. I wouldn't normally react to you but I think you are deliberately baiting people. -

Aside from the obvious anger about the two botched signings (the official announcement says the paperwork for the kid from Rochdale wasn't signed) just take a moment to look at the January window in its totality. One loan signing, that's it. This all singing, all dancing recruitment department led by Broughton really excelled here. What a complete waste of time and money. I wonder if Tomassons 'never waste a window' comment will be ringing in Broughtons ears. He reminds me of the title of an episode of The Sweeney from years ago. Just another villain in a cheap suit. I honestly believe that between several BRFCS members the club could be better administered and that includes Broughton and his army. It's time to exorcise Blackburn Rovers and rid us of these imposters and chancers. -
A decent performance against a young looking Celtic side with Thomas showing up really well early on. He faded a bit in the second half but we got an hour out of him probably with a view to Monday evening. We were coasting at 3-0 and pretty much switch off and became far too casual. We conceded from a Garratt mistake and could have conceded another after. Overall though it was quite comfortable with Edun and Phillips the picks for me.

I have been wondering what the strategy is - for 12 f***ing years. 😂 -

I agree on the promotion aspect Gav but I think he would have massively improved us and made us better to watch. I saw him several times last season and thought he was the best player in the Championship. -

If that's what happened then I think they will win the appeal. However that doesn't excuse the gross incompetence. -

I've said for ages that I personally know several posters on this board who would do a far better job than Swag and for less money. And their main credential is simple - they actually give a fuck. -

Whichever way this goes it reeks of incompetence. Surely somebody should have known (or at the very least checked) prior to the loan and potential fee being agreed. It kind of sums up the last twelve years to me after the lunatics took over the asylum. It looks on the face of it that Broughton's halo has slipped here although we probably will never find out who was responsible. As DoF he owes it to us to tell the truth. And in the whole sad process what about Lewis O'Brien? He was probably looking forward to playing some Championship football for half a season to get his career back on track but now could be festering back in Nottingham. It's poor and completely unacceptable. -

I sincerely hope the clowns putting the case for appeal together aren't the ones who have screwed it up initially. But then every circus needs a clown but we have lots of them. A new collective noun for clowns - a Rovers. -

I was about to post the same. PSG are alleging that the documents sent by Chelsea were simply unsigned and scuppered the deal. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/32461/12800609/hakim-ziyech-paris-saint-germain-claim-chelseas-document-gaffe-scuppered-loan-move-for-winger -
I got an email from the club yesterday about the Celtic game tonight. For anybody who has bought tickets already please note the bit in bold. It's a really strange one and reads that you won't need photographic identification of you are buying tickets on the night. Only Rovers could come up with something so ambiguous. Me neither. The only time I'll relax about them is when they f*** off. -
Thanks Parson. It's interesting to note that you have given Pears your man of the match. In my opinion he should be given a start on Monday ahead of Kaminski who has a plethora of key errors on his recent CV. Neil McDonald was summarising on Radio Lancashire and he too was fulsome in his praise of Pears. I do wonder though if Tomasson did actually 'drop' Kaminski after Saturday having started him for the first time this season in a cup game, a game in which I thought he should have done better on both of Birminghams goals.

Last night was the first game where we've been allowed in that I've missed in a long time. I was committed to see my granddaughter singing at the AO Arena as part of Young Voice. I couldn't get a signal so had no real idea what was going on. I got Radio Lancashire commentary coming back and hated it. Not the commentary but not seeing it live. I'm delighted at the win and what seems a decent performance too. And a clean sheet is always welcome.

I would imagine there would need to be medical staff there too along with Ian Sylvester (or similar) to ensure the registration documents and contracts are registered on time. Oh I nearly forgot a functioning fax machine 😁😁 -

I know who was behind it but I was using that as an example of what can potentially happen. Something as radical as that would throw the journey, project or plan awry. That's what I have been saying all along - there are far too many variables in football and under irrational owners to plan so far ahead. -

I didn't expect us to be in a playoff position or anywhere near them. But we are and it's a poor league in which a few key signings can make all the difference. That's my real source of frustration. -

I used that as an example to debunk the project myth. I'm certain there are other examples out there too.
