  1. I saw Scott play for the under 23's last week and whilst his fitness was fine his timing was all over the place. I just hope Mowbray isn't throwing him under the bus.
  2. There is some negativity and booing at Old Trafford. I hope the "proper" fans are taking them to task. © A Mowbray
  3. What a great servant to Rovers. And if I'm not mistaken he still holds the record for appearances for us. And he's still working too. Happy birthday Faz.
  4. Why did Butterfield delete his post then? This loyalty thing is a two way street. We took him from Gillingham and helped make him the player has become. We have supported him through two had injuries even giving him a new contract. Mowbray effectively kept him out of prison. And he repays the club by liking a post celebratory biggest ever home defeat. But the big worry is he (and you seemingly) doesn't think he has done anything wrong.
  5. I seem to remember that Salgado offered to remove the clause to help the team fight relegation. But that lot didn't want to know.
  6. That's alright but whose pies are they selling? 😁😁😁
  7. Selfish bastards Fulham. Not letting us win so he could have taken us to the highest position we have been under the cretin. Cudda, wudda, shudda.
  8. I think somebody with some brain cells at Ewood (it's a small pool I know) has had a word with him to point out the stupidity of his post. I now await a mealy mouthed press release........ Edit: And wasn't it Mowbray (as an employee of Rovers) who essentially kept Dack out of jail when he gave him a character reference after Dack couldn't be arsed doing his Community Service? He owes Rovers a lot more than we owe him and then he acts so disrespectfully.
  9. I'm so angry at these two clowns particularly Dack. He has been injured for the best part of two years and in that time got a new deal and the unwavering support of the club and the fans. And he likes the content of a post on social media from an opponent celebrating our highest ever home league defeat. That is an insult to every Rovers fan, particularly the ones who endured that humiliation. It's simple from my perspective. Apologise or fuck off.
  10. That is awful and so disrespectful. Dack, Butterworth and any other Rovers player who likes somebody glorifying in a humiliating night for Rovers can fuck off. I would rather have youth team players representing us than them idiots.
  11. I wasn't really going to criticise the players but that was shocking defending from Van Hecke. His positioning and body shape in the incident are like something you would see at Pleasington on Sunday mornings. A clear red card and three game ban. And Mowbray had the temerity to bemoan the potential lack of defenders for Saturday.
  12. Two relegations, shipping seven goals three times, a lost 10000, our lowest ever league position, made dozens of people rich, sold part of Jack's legacy, ground in disrepair and many, many other serious failings. A promotion from the old Third Division. I put this because someone described the last decade as a rollercoaster ride. I have never seen a rollercoaster that just plummets. And the really sad part is that some are still grateful to them.
  13. Yep. Who will interview any potential new managers? Waggott and Cheston? The fat Venky? Do me a favour. The last ten years have been awful but I really feel there is worse to come.
  14. The story goes that after losing 7-1 to Man Utd Venkys were that embarrassed in front of their Indian guests they sacked Allardyce. I don't know if that's true but tonight was far more embarrassing although I doubt they even knew we were playing let alone getting humiliated on Sky. The whole club needs an exorcism to rid us of the people who have ruined a fantastically run club, a proud club who could mix it with the big boys. FOV and take the whole lot with you.
  15. I should feel angry right now but I don't. This has been coming for some time now and is a new low for this club of ours which has been systematically dismantled in a decade to leave a shell of what it was. We had first rate, top class everything until they showed up. Now we have nothing, no assets, a crumbling, decaying infrastructure and we have had second rate managers, Chief Execs and all kinds of shysters foisted upon us. And still people talk about them like they are our saviours. I had to put a lad straight coming home who was praising them saying about the money they are putting in, where would we be without them and all the guff that sometimes gets posted on here. Of course Mowbray and his imposters should be sacked right now but we will still be left with the real poison, a poison that has all but killed our club. I the the day they darkened our door.
  16. And I think lots of their players have played for clubs in the North. Blimey Mitrovic is a Serbian and they do breed tough guys.
  17. I don't know if anybody remembers the Warby Boys. They gave themselves that name because the stood under the Warburtons sign on the Embankment at Burnden. That night they were out in force hitting anybody who they thought was from Blackburn. A group of them chased me and a mate all the way up Manchester Road and we reached the sanctuary of the train station shaking and dishevelled. Usain Bolt wouldn't have caught us that night😆😆. The sting in the tail for me was that my elder brother, no doubt in relief to see me in one piece whacked me on the station platform for being a dick and getting chased.
  18. What a great listen - thanks Andy. It's a very open, honest account from Mark without any embellishments as any Darreners know. It was also quite poignant when he spoke about his dad and his passing. I remember his mum, dad and brothers and they were a proper working class family, something Mark has never forgotten. I hope the book sales do him proud.
  19. So as we are expecting several thousand Yorkies on Saturday I wonder if Rovers will have a temporary erection (ooh er missus) or something to sell beer and the like to them. Surely there's a massive opportunity here. I won't hold my breath though.
  20. I'm with you. I never saw a player in there apart from rare flashes but he has (I'm happy to say) proved me wrong. And to support our opinion I heard at weekend that he has scored more goals as Brereton-Diaz than he did as plain old Brereton. What's in a name eh?
  21. That's some preview and standard to set. 😁😁 It's another tough fixture on the back of Fulham against a team who are physical to align with skill. I think we'll get a point after a defeat on Wednesday. Edit: I have just seen that the appointed referee for this game is Oliver Langford. That won't mean much until I say he had us against Luton recently and put in arguably the worst refereeing performance at Ewood for some time. It culminated with a dying swan act in stoppage time when he went down injured. I really hope he isn't as bad on Saturday.
  22. It really is a simple job to employ a marketing consultancy firm for a week or two to get some answers. Clearly there is a cost associated to this but surely it would be money well spent for the club to find out and perhaps use the answers positively. When you consider the money wasted on the failed sale of the STC it's another example of the poor leadership down there. Or, more likely Waggott doesn't care and is happy to blame Covid.
  23. Please don't take this personally but what has prompted you to go? I think for fans who are going for the first time this season there should be a follow up call from the club to ask that very question. Then at least there could be proof of why our crowds have dropped alarmingly.
