  1. They do seem to have quite a big turnover of staff down there so maybe you got one who was just passing through and not bothered. I have always found the longer serving staff helpful and pleasant.
  2. It's in the eye of the beholder 😂. My granddaughter didn't like the mock up somebody posted but she likes this so I'm getting her one. My friend is on holiday and has just contacted me to get one for his lad too as they like it.
  3. And there is all the evidence you need that Mr Potato Head is on a wind up with the vast majority of his posts. Assuming he's a grown man I question his mentality. Sorry for using your post to reply ARA but I have him on ignore and only see his drivel when one of his wind ups are posted.
  4. Atcheson and Davies both on now. Both are 16 and first year scholars.
  5. It is. I was told yesterday about the change but it wasn't announced publicly to deter spectators.
  6. Tomasson and a few who played last night are there.
  7. https://thefsa.org.uk/news/leeds-united-offer-reciprocal-away-ticket-deals/ Cardiff have taken up the reciprocal ticket price offer from Leeds and adult tickets for the games will now be £21 as opposed to the £45/47 if there was no agreement. I wonder if Swagger will look after us in the same way.
  8. Rovers have been back in training now for almost a month. His fitness must have been poor if he can't get up to speed in that time. We will have played six games by tomorrow and he hasn't featured at all. With the league starting on August 5th and only two games in the interim I can't see him being in the squad for the West Brom game.
  9. 😆😆 What is the hand on the tattooed arm holding?
  10. A cryptic clue ahead of tomorrow's away kit launch. Any ideas?
  11. We lost out on the playoffs through goal difference which was exacerbated by some woeful time keeping towards the end of the season. I remember a few occasions when JDT quite rightly ranted about insufficient time being added. The score shouldn't be an influence in league games, cup game are different. I also understand that one of the considerations here was the betting markets (don't shoot the messenger about this 😂). Your example is a good one but sadly there will be some collateral damage here. The real issue is that the authorities didn't deal with it years ago when it first crept in. It has been allowed to fester and now strong measures have to be brought in to reel it back.
  12. I'm amazed that Rovers have never capitalised on the world's most famous band singing a song with our name in it.
  13. Although there is nothing official yet I have been reliably informed that all match officials have been instructed to add on all the time lost during a match irrespective of how much there is. Even if the score is 6-0 the appropriate amount of time has to be added. Officials have also been told that if a player requires treatment on the pitch he has to go off and not allowed to return for thirty seconds which will be timed by the fourth official. This in particular has become farcical over the years as players are waved straight back on after having had treatment. I think these are really progressive moves as time wasting has become a real issue in my view with some teams having it down to a fine art. Hopefully it will be applied consistently.
  14. Young Max Davies suffering from stage fright in Austria. 😂😂
  15. And it's worth noting that there is no Club Cash this season for season ticket holders. If I was cynical I would say the early bird offer is the reason.
  16. The EFL seem to change the rules regarding embargoed clubs on a regular basis. I can't find how long the contract is for but reports say he has turned down a lucrative move to Saudi to sign for Cardiff. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12920332/aaron-ramsey-wales-captain-and-former-arsenal-midfielder-set-for-cardiff-city-medical-after-rejecting-saudi-arabia-move
  17. Cardiff are under a transfer embargo which prevents them paying a transfer fee for new players but they can sign Ramsey on presumably big wages. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65998488
  18. Accrington are once against giving every Year 3 kid in Hyndburn a new Stanley shirt. It is the seventh year of doing this and they expect to give around 8400 away. https://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/news/2023/july/community-stanleys-big-shirt-giveaway-to-return-for-seventh-year/
  19. Really good news. His versatility, energy and drive will be massive for us.
  20. I thought similar she I saw him. He seems to have a growth spurt since last season which is normal for a kid that age but he has certainly bulked up. His quads have increased in size massively.
  21. From the games I have seen Atcheson has been the better of the two. As you say though young Davies must have done something outstanding to warrant such an elevation.
  22. The FA did nothing to help Rovers when we were being pillaged by all and sundry who were breaching lots of rules and regulations. The FA were given evidence and told by senior people what was happening and they just put their fingers in their ears and allowed it to fester and rot. Therefore I don't wish the FA the reflected glory they wallow in when one of the representative teams does well. As the standard bearers for the English game they are a failure.
  23. I was in Block D on the front row just to the right of the technical areas. I got my tickets through Accrington in the knowledge that the Rovers players would be knocking about in that area. My granddaughter got pitcures with seventeen of the players and autographs too so she was chuffed.
  24. He came on for about twenty minutes in the second match and did fine. The two sixteen year old centre halves (Davies and Atcheson) were on the bench for both games and before each game were warming up in front of where I was sat. On each occasion Tomasson took time to speak to them both. I haven't a clue what was said but I imagine that these kids felt a million dollars that the manager had singled them out.
  25. Without doubt Don Goodman is the most insightful, knowledgeable and eloquent co commentator, I also like Andy Hinchcliffe for the same reason. The like of Lee Hendrie bring nothing to the game for me.
