The Club's in question obviously were not of the same view We don't know for certain where we are or who is available or whether the Club have any genuine intentions of improving the squad at all. All that is pure speculation at this stage. All we know for certain is that we are in desperate need of reinforcements and none have arrived to date and we lost at home today.

Bamford is the antithesis of a clinical striker. If we want someone who can provide silky build up play and then miss from 2 yards (on a very large wage) he's our man I'd guess. And that's assuming he's fit. Makes Gallagher look robust.

I don't know enough about said players to say if they're better than what we've already got chaddy. What I do know for certain is that those Clubs have identified areas they think they need to strengthen in, have got their ducks in a row and have moved early in the window. I.e. whether said players come off or not at least their Club's are trying their best. We on the other hand have known about the desperate need for reinforcements for ages yet nothing has happened yet and there are no real links either. I suppose that old chestnut "Let's not judge it until after the end of the window" will be wheeled out soon. Which is fair up to a point but there are a lot of points to be won (and lost) in January.

If Tronstad doesn't give the ball away initially they don't score. If Hyam gets a clean header on the ball they don't score. If Tronstad remains alert when the ball comes back in they probably don't score. You can't pin that on ACD at all. Well you can but it's completely unfair.

ACD didn't have a great game apart from one brilliant cross but the goal was nothing whatsoever to do with him. After he lost possession Tronstad picked up the ball but made a poor clearance straight to Cullen. The ball was then recycled out to their left via a miscued header from Hyam. The ball came back in and Tronstad not for the first time recently was caught ball watching on the edge of his own area allowing his opponent to come in behind him and score unopposed. Nothing to do with ACD. Did he have a good enough game though? No.

I don't think you've mentioned that before.......Lol. He hasn't been fit in much of either of the last 2 seasons now, apparently went off injured AGAIN at HT today and has a grand total of 3 last season and one this season, - exactly the same as Gueye.
