Gallagher has to be one of the worst players ever to wear a Rovers shirt. Needs subbing at half time. Brereton isn't playing a lot better on the night either. Need someone to get stuck in in midfield and the defence are being bullied by the limited Eaves who is putting himself about like Gallagher ought to. Too many passengers. Yep. Midfield looks very weak. That's where I'd be looking to strengthen in the remainder of this window along with extra firepower up front.

I like Lampard, can't stand Rooney but would welcome either of them going to Goodison and absolutely tanking. Never a bad thing to see one or all of the local giants struggling. I think tonight is absolutely pivotal. I've little doubt we'd have won this game had it been played when it should have been as we were absolutely flying at that point. However the last few games for me we've looked very flat and like we're running on fumes. The three points is the main thing but I'd like to see us get back in our stride a bit as well. Lose tonight and I wouldn't even be too confident of making the play offs with a tough game against Boro coming up. If Rovers had any sense the bonuses would only take effect for players still under contract after the start of next season so that the out of contract 3 would need to sign a new deal to be eligible. The deals could also incorporate a hefty increase in the event of promotion.

First paragraph agree entirely. Second paragraph, strongly disagree couldn't care less about any other Club.

1) Because you keep claiming the owners don't give the manager enough money for players. They must have being doing something right as we were in FFP difficulties in summer. 2) Something I've heard. If true I would say the amount in question is decent and I'll be questioning why the manager didn't spend it this window. Plus, don't forget, the owners have also committed to £10m plus in player bonuses if we go up. 3) Someone else referred to an interview where TM had allegedly said someone might be sold, I haven't seen that one. In a previous interview he said supporters wouldn't expect the team to be broken up so who knows what he's thinking or can believe a word that comes out of his mouth? To be fair I wouldn't want him broadcasting we have some money available if indeed it is so available so hopefully this is just an attempt to keep the price for targets down.

Surely the moral of the story is do your due diligence and get a decent sponsor in the first place? Also I may be naive but I always assumed that sponsorship was paid up in advance or at least on an annual basis etc? I wonder how much revenue we've missed out on and how far behind they were with payments? Sounds like they were almost drip feeding it into the Club on a monthly basis on the never never. As for the new choice of sponsor, words fail me, but then we've already got it on the training kit so why bother I suppose? Another Waggott special.
