All very well being a smart arse. Obviously we aren't going EVERY home game but BEFORE kick off what do you expect? A draw? -

Not at all but when we start on a few bad results I tend to treat the run as starting from the first of those. -

I expect us to win our home games. One point from two home games. Maybe if we'd beaten Millwall, the point against Sunderland would have looked acceptable. Then with today, that would have been one bad result but then again if my Aunty would have had balls and all that. -

It gets worse, it is actually three disappointing results. -

It's hardly surprising though is it after three successive second half collapses** in the preceding seasons. ** Relative to the first half. -

Once we drop out of the top six, I don't see us getting back in. I hope I'm wrong of course. -

Yes, Forever Blue describing everyone's views as the "usual over-reaction"! -

Nail on head there I'd say. If he's playing like this when we're in and around the play off positions I dread to think what he'll be like if we slide down the table and he really spits his dummy out -

Wouldn't say it's an over-reaction. Sounds like we we absolutely terrible today and you're agreeing with everyone else that we need attacking reinforcements. -

Were people worried that someone might come in with a big offer for Cantwell in January? I think we're safe in that respect. -

Eustace has done a fantastic job overall and pleased he started ACD over Hedges for once but not impressed at all with him bringing Leonard on after 84. No pressure Harry........... -

If he can't manage half an hour at full throttle he shouldn't be on the bench. What good is sitting on the bench for 90 mins going to do him? This was more or less a must win game today, he scored a sharp finish last time out and 0-0 at home he still can't get on. -

What does Leonard have to do to get a decent run out exactly? -

In the context of our situation and our need to win this one, I wouldn't say those are amazingly positive changes. Very much like for like. Obviously if one of them turn the game the manager's got it right but I can't speak with hindsight until after the game. Edit: And I typed that before we went one down. Kitchen sink time. -

I'm not watching the game but I'd guess the reason for that is that he hasn't got Travis doing all the work for him so he can't just get away with doing a few bits and bats here and there. With Leeds and the Dingles to come I feel we must get 3 points today or any realistic chance of top 6 will start disappearing into the ether. If it's still 0-0 on 60- 65 mins I hope Leonard is given a good half hour or so to try and make a difference rather than just 10 mins. Leonard for Cantwell? -

On the line up, ACD in for Hedges so very happy with that. Hope Gueye can score with a clean strike or header to continue rebuilding his confidence. -

What rumours are those? The usual "John Eustace is amongst the front runners for (insert latest available Championship or bottom 6 Premier League job)" Or something with a bit more meat on it? Not that I'm being complacent about the possibility. -
I disagree but it all depends on how much you rate the player in question. I don't particularly rate Hyam and think he only looks any good with someone playing well alongside him such as Scott Wharton a couple of years ago or Batth (who's been a revelation). As such I wouldn't be pushing the boat out for him salary wise. Also (stating the bleeding obvious) you also have to factor in future resale value - if for example you think Dolan has more resale potential in future than Hyam then that would encourage you to give him a deal more on parity with the higher earners.
