  1. Even though the game is only 2 weeks away, tickets are not yet for sale on the website. Is it too much to ask that the people in charge of the ticket office do their job?
  2. The only part of the BBE that makes any noise is the right hand corner/back few rows.
  3. This was always the hope but the club never came forward to facilitate the idea.
  4. Waggot Probably the only person i've ever known who wants to promote away support. Idiotic
  5. I did go into the BBE for the Liverpool game but I just wasn't feeling it I'll give the JWL a few games, hopefully it won't be too bad
  6. Just checked the take up for the 'new' section. Disappointingly, it's a bit sparse.
  7. people will still buy the kit... for the same reason as they buy it every year. It identifies you with the Club/Players.
  8. They've haven't put much effort into either... the home kit looks the same as an old UMBRO kit from the last time they were our kit manufacture and the away one is just plain
  9. waggot wanting more away support is pretty appalling.
  10. It's not fair to apportion blame onto waggot, this time. (although he could've changed it) This is about inept security personnel.
  11. It's not the police. It's the inept security officer we have at Ewood (can't recall his name... bald headed guy). It was the same the last time we were in the Championship. The flawed logic behind it is that at 12, less alcohol would be consumed so less trouble. All you apologists for the company line quite literally make me sick. The club couldn't give 2 f**** about the people who continue to support the club.
  12. why wouldn't you be?
  13. anyone would think the club is run by idiots
  14. Just looking to renew my '1875' account and I notice that it' s gone up from £5,l ast season, to £16.50?? Is this correct?
  15. Have the 'fans forum' members already seen them?
  16. The difference between the 2 seasons is last year, for many reasons, we got pretty decent support but the worry for this year is that the perception from our own support will be that we're smallfish, been here before and the motivation to get out to support the team won't be as strong. I hope that the club and players make a massive effort to help the supporters through what are bound to be some difficult times.
  17. Was it only this time, last year, that he was begging to leave (to any Championship club that would have him,) and only stayed with us because no one would take the risk on signing him?
  18. Sanctimonious comes to mind.
  19. funny how you've never posted but you seem to have quite the opinion about this. Someone who sites in the Riverside calling fans who actually support their team, 'tinpot' and 'embarrassing' is laughable. Don't blame the fans for trying to do something positive.. the club (waggot and accountant) is culpable in not doing anything about this.
  20. mrssusan (or whoever you are). Home Supporters, who have been going in the DE for many seasons, aren't isolating themselves. We just preferred to go somewhere with a better atmosphere than the dead BBE. The idea was, and still is, to get the more vocal supporters to come together. Just because the BBE found its voice in the latter part of this season doesn't take away from the fact that going into the bbe to (vocally) support the team died many seasons ago. If the club (or more directly waggot) had made an effortyo engage with season ticket holders in the DE before announcing the decision to close it then the idea to move to N01/N05 could have been better explored. As it is, his attitude towards the JWL move is just paying lip-service to the few fans that had already started organising it. The comment about a small section of fans being ineffectual against vocal away followings is correct (we have already been moved to the JWL on many occasions, already). But i'd rather be with a group of people who will support the team (and not just when things are going OK) than to be sat with a bunch of fickle, whinging spectators in any part of the ground.
  21. the quality of the UMBRO kits has been poor, last few seasons. Tops don't last a season without bobbling/pulls in the material. (with minimal wear) I have older UMBRO tops from the last time they were our suppliers and they ate still going.
  22. I suppose it depends on what you term as 'trouble' I've not seen any (apart from reacting to aggression from away fans). Keep the away fans in the ground. Put them upstairs to negate the support It's ridiculous that the club wants to give away the advantage of playing at home
  23. that's me and my lads in for a season!!!!!!!!!! in W01.
  24. I think it will just be a case of waiting to see where people are going. At the moment, i'm undecided as I go with my 2 grown-up sons... one likes the atmosphere)/singing/standing whereas the other wants to go back to the BBE
  25. it might well be but with no guidance from the club and only Social Media to go on, the opportunity to sort things out looks likely to be missed.
