  1. Yeah I'm watching via skysports app (red button essentially)
  2. He's got it all to prove, for sure. There is just the small ray of hope that because his current injury isn't related to his original one, we might just have that one sorted 🤞 But at the minute, it looks like he's just going to be consistently injured. You could be right and he's just one of those players. Definitely not ideal.
  3. Can only assume Ennis was signed with the expectation that they could resolve whatever injury issues he has/had and get him up to speed. Obviously, there is a potential risk to that. His latest injury was an impact one he received during the Hull game wasn't it? So not a recurrence of his original injury.
  4. Yep, a loss coupled with wins for Watford (away at Sunderland), QPR (away at Leeds) and Swansea (at home to Norwich) will do it. Tbf I think draws for Watford and Swansea would do it because of our horrific goal difference. Personally, I don't think QPR or Watford will win but I don't think Rovers will either.
  5. Despite their horrible start to the season Boro have now won 3 on the bounce and have jumped above us in the league.
  6. ----------------Wahlstedt Brittain-----Hill-----Hyam----Pickering -------Travis---Tronstad---Wharton Moran--------Szmodics-----Sigurdsson Gotta switch things up a touch. Give Carter a rest and give Hill a shot at staking a claim. Tronstad seems to be hardly used and I don't know if he's just not good enough but we have limited options. Hoping a holding midfielder might make some difference in stemming the flow of goals we concede, as well as putting 3 in the middle. Let Travis and Wharton do their thing. Front 3 all have to start.
  7. The Daily record had him at 28/1 for the next Rangers manager. Behind names like Bielsa, potter, Hasenhuttl, marsch, Muscat. Not sure if they'll go for JDT but you never know. No way in hell he'd turn them down if approached.
  8. I think his reputation is in pretty good shape right now tbh. We are getting some plaudits for our "playing style" and he's obviously not been backed over the summer. The CEO bizarrely went on record saying his remit is to develop players and stay in the championship. He can easily point to several players who have improved and a batch youngsters he's integrated into the first team. If, we continue to leak goals like a sieve and end up in the bottom 3 for any reasonable length of time, that's when his reputation might start getting some question marks.
  9. Something is clearly not working, despite this "cavalier" approach and creating more chances, we've still only scored 13 goals, which is pretty average in comparison to the rest of the league. Hugely concerning that along with Southampton, we've conceded the most goals in the league (20). I'm not buying his "it's individual errors" costing us goals argument as we're now shipping, on average, over 2 goals per game. He absolutely needs to rethink this approach and address the balance, we aren't going to win many games if we keep conceding goals at this rate.
  10. Sutton sounds like he's nailed it. We are a development club. Waggott said it, stay up and develop players, that's the only aim. That's the message from the top. Abysmal.
  11. Oh yeah forgot about them signing him......and every other professional footballer in world football.
  12. Loving this draw, feels like under JDT we can cause an upset against most teams. Huge shame it's not been picked for TV.
  13. Telalovic off Gilsenan on Bit concerning if Telalovic hasn't played well and we've scored 5 goals.
  14. Aye, thought penny pinching would be the reason but thought I'd double check!
  15. Would have liked to see Gilsenan start but really, no grumbles from me on that line up.
  16. Really glad to see this is being asked and I really hope you get some better answers than a standard brush off. Apologies, when is the meeting?
  17. Assume this game isn't legally being shown on TV?
  18. Fair enough, I actually didn't realise they'd spent that much. According to Transfermarket they spent just over £100m, it kind of reinforces my overall gripe that the financial chasm between the 2 leagues is insane, they have to spend that much just to be winless and in the bottom 3. (Yes, you can argue the money hasn't been spent well, poor manager etc) Like Forest last season had to spend £150m to just about survive.
