  1. No contract talks to date with JDT: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23982070.tomasson-gives-latest-blackburn-rovers-contract/ "No, there have not been any discussions," Tomasson told The Lancashire Telegraph. "We haven't spoken, I signed a three-year deal when I arrived." I genuinely think there is more chance of me signing a managerial contract at Rovers than JDT.
  2. Everton just highlighting the ever growing gap between the Premier League and the championship. Handed a 10 point deduction and the 3 promoted clubs still can't get out of the bottom 3. And that's Everton, who are basically a mess as it is.
  3. 2 losses on the bounce, a paper thin squad looking knackered and wretched home form isn't exactly inspiring a lot of confidence for this one. Could really do with freshening things up a bit but there isn't many options to do so. ------------------Wahlstedt Brittain----Hill----Carter-----Pickering -----------Tronstad---Wharton Moran--------Szmodics-----Sigurdsson --------------------Leonard I'd start Ennis or Telalovic if JDT thinks either could do a job. Not many options otherwise. Travis at least can come back and boost the bench.
  4. The cherry was almost on the cake as they got a 4th. As always VAR ruined everyone's fun.
  5. Szmodics aside, our attacking options are woeful. Moran is too inconsistent, Leonard isn't ready, Sigurdsson started brilliantly but his form has dropped off a cliff edge, Markanday has never been good enough. Ennis, Telalovic, Gallagher, Vale aren't good enough/permanently injured. We've recruited poorly. We can cling to the hope players (Szmodics as an example) have improved a lot over time but that means it's a waiting game and they're unlikely to contribute anything this season.
  6. Brittain move to RB, take off Scotty, move Hill to CB. Bring Sigurdsson on the right hand side.
  7. Poor that. Our attacks have very little end product and our defence is gift wrapping opportunities for Leeds. If it's the same again this half, and I expect it will be, it'll end 0-3 minimum.
  8. 1 down, basically means we are done
  9. That Leeds kit is all kinds of awful
  10. You have to go into the match centre and there is a small bit of text that says "watch live" and then video should appear. If you can get it to go full screen, let me know, I can't 😥
  11. Came here to ask this very question. Cheers 🫡
  12. He'll be walking for free in the summer, there isn't much of an argument for extending his contract. His high wages and lack of game time doesn't work for us when finances are so tight. JDT won't be happy though, as he's our only experienced striker and had he been fit, I think JDT would have him in the team more often than not. Not sure he'll get replaced either, Leonard will have another season under his belt, Vale (I know, I know) will be back after a season on loan and we've got Telalovic and Ennis (if ever available). That's a poor crop of strikers in anyone's book but it's 4 players for 1 position. The club wants to increase their value, they won't bring in an experienced player to block their pathway.
  13. I mean, I like Trav but "£5m rated Maestro Lewis Travis" is a bit much
  14. We won't change our style/tactics. Leeds will pick us off at ease. We make a lot of mistakes at the back (oddly enough, more so at home). It should be a straight forward win for Leeds.
  15. It would be classic Rovers to lose to bottom of the league and then beat Leeds but I agree that we are in for a tubbing here.
  16. No surprise he's gone. Sunderland are ambitious and were clearly expecting to be hitting the playoffs as a minimum. I'd be concerned that they might move for JDT, might have the same issues with the idea of a young/development playing squad but if they make an approach, could see him wanting to speak to them. Give him a bit of money to play with in January and show some ambition and he'll be gone. He'll get paid more as well.
  17. Leonard, Moran, Wharton, Carter, Wahlstedt, The whole bench.
  18. Comfortably one of the worst results we've had for a while. Sheff Wed have redefined crisis club, they are an absolute shambles.
  19. Good job we can look to the bench to turn it round.....
