  1. Congratulations Tony. 5 losses on the bounce. First time thats happened since the worst manager in our clubs history was in charge. 👏
  2. I can't believe we scored form a set piece.
  3. He'll sub him for Bennett or Buckley soon enough.
  4. Another awful goal. Fuck off Tony.
  5. Watford have got a couple more goals in them, one of our lot will conjure up a moment of individual brilliance at some point. It will end 2-4.
  6. Pretty sure he came back well ahead of when he was supposed to, basically declared himself fit. Madness.
  7. Done. We ain't coming back from this. FFS get him sacked, its the most obvious thing in football now. He's done.
  8. Not really, no. And yet Mowbray has a 20 goal striker, a Liverpool wonder kid and our best player (pre injury) and he still can't get a tune out of our attack.
  9. Let's not forget Joe Nuttall, who tore it up in the U23's but wasn't much cop at Snr level.
  10. And according to the mid-table maestro, its only just begun. Not a fan of interim managers. When a team is on the decline, any new face at the helm stirs the players a bit and instills bit of belief back into he squad. Positive results follow but in the medium term, it doesn't last and after the initial positivity, the novelty wears off and the interim manager is found out and it all goes south again. Too late by this point, as the club have already handed them a 3 year contract. We need a new manager no doubts but its beyond Venkys to scour the earth for the best available option.
  11. Yep, seems that way. No Lenihan either. Johnson and JRC still not back. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-team-news-watford-19896509
  12. Didn't think there would be. Obviously its just spin to please the fans but it seems unlikely that Venkys or Waggot would be masterminding such a revolutionary idea to merge it all into one place and basically being a head of the curve compared to other clubs. It seemed we were ahead of the curve than most clubs with the Cat one status. I guess we will lose that status too? Probably costs a bit to keep it at a Cat one level, so might be another money saving idea.
  13. Probably been mentioned somewhere in the thread previously but with the club trotting out the line its the best way forward for the future and all that, do any other clubs operate with a similar set up to what we are proposing?
  14. Apologies if someone else was lined up to start this thread. So,let's start with: March 24th 2012 - Bolton 2 v 1 Rovers April 2nd 2012 - Rovers 0 - 2 Man Utd April 7th 2012 - WBA 3 - 0 Rovers April 10th 2012 - Rovers 2 - 3 Liverpool April 14th 2012 - Swansea 3 - 0 Rovers The last time we lost 5 on the bounce, according to the lancs live. Mowbray now has to mastermind a win or draw against 3rd placed Watford in order to avoid joining the same club as Steve K**n in going 5 losses in a row. Confidence must be at an all time low and I can't see anything other than a comfortable defeat. Gallagher and Nyambe will be missing, not sure about Lenihan. Formation and lineup is changed probably daily by Mowbray, so who knows who will start or in what formation. I'm thinking we might even get done 0-3. Anyone feeling more positive?
  15. I'm just going on Mowbrays history with the right back spot. He's often played Bennett there and he's already given THB game time there. I'd much rather Pike was developed in our first team for the rest of the season, instead of developing the City loanee but you already know what Mowbray will do.
  16. Sounds like we are going to be without Gallagher and Nyambe for a while. Mowbray has said he's "done his hamstring" but without going into much detail but the article says he expects both to be out for a while. So, its Bennett or THB for the foreseeable at right back. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2021/february/injury-update-sam-gallagher-and-ryan-nyambe/
  17. He loves a Brentford name drop as well.
  18. Hasn't he already taken us on a 10 game winless run?
  19. Doesn't even sit in the dugout anymore. Falls asleep in the fucking 15th row.
