  1. Good shout because I was wondering
  2. This is where Mowbray needs to be proactive with his subs. Edit: or wait till someone gets injured 🙃
  3. What sort of odds were people getting?
  4. Yer, he's been terrible. Still living off a pre season friendly against Leicester
  5. Crazy game. Penalty to Rovers. A great pass from Rothwell in the build up to.
  6. Not sure why people still think he is? He was frustrating for some time but he's clearly worked hard on his game and he's a really good player for us. I'll be disappointed if we don't get him on a new deal.
  7. Substitution bingo. We have: Edun Clarkson Poveda Butterworth 1 down, need a goal, a spark, a game changer. Whats the chances? Clarkson and Edun on Butterworth and Poveda getting splinters in their backsides.
  8. "The first step, is to acknowledge the problem. Who'd like to share with the group" "Hi I'm Tony" "Hi Tony" (voices in unison) "I keep setting the team up in a back 3 but I have no idea how to get it to work. I just can't help myself" "Don't worry Tony, we all suffer from the same problems here and we are all here to help." "Thanks Mark, David and Damien"
  9. A foul throw... From a professional footballer!
  10. I can't get this to work on my tablet as it normally does? Scratch that, its on now.
  11. Yep it is: Trav captain as well.
  12. Was Lenihan subbed due to injury or just to give some game time to Carter?
  13. I don't think anyone saw that coming! Superb win and delighted that Diaz bagged his first career hat trick 👏 Can't believe we were 6th going into the game and actually managed to win!
  14. Nice goal for West Brom which is looking like the winner.
  15. He missed loads of last season with a hamstring injury, came back and fracturedhis metatarsal. He played in an under 23's game last month and then picked up another hamstring injury which has kept him out since and is still a few weeks away from first team training.
  16. Another hamstring issue, seems like he can't shake those, which is a worry. He's not likely to get a good run of games under his belt anytime soon.
  17. That Spurs kit 🤢🤮
  18. He's now our 4th longest serving (post war) manager according to Rich Sharpe. Jack Marshall - 2436 days Bob Saxton - 2039 days Johnny Carey - 1948 days Tony Mowbray - 1673 days
  19. Fully agree. The fact that they'll be in the ear of Mr and Mrs D, and not just Bala, makes it almost inevitable Mowbray will be getting a new deal. Because he's "a nice guy", nothing to do with his managerial abilities.
  20. Interesting and damning stat. Get anywhere near the play offs and the collapse. Mowbray doesn't inspire much of a winning mentality either. "We'll go into the next game and see what happens" **shoulder shrug**
  21. We're in the play offs! (Probs for a week)
