  1. That was some shit goal to concede. Mowbray out
  2. Don't worry we can't be far off a quintuple substitution. Tony knows what he's doing....
  3. Organisation and workrate vs Mowbray's "I don’t do formations"
  4. Gallagher in, playing better in his natural position shocker.
  5. We played it when we went down into league one for a game or 2. Caddis and Williams I think were the full backs. We lost to Southend
  6. If nothing else, this has added some interest in watching it rather than expecting the same old fiasco.
  7. My concern is that Mowbray won't be able to get this to work, he struggles with a 4 let alone 3/5. If it works then great but I'm not holding my breath. Alot required from both Bennett and Douglas.
  8. He's not even made the squad. Unbelievable.
  9. Tonight's tombola draw has been done. Tony, the compère without compare, is hastily scribbling down the draw on his team sheet. *Note: Players may not appear in correct, or any formation as written on the team sheet.
  10. Henry in talks with Bournemouth, according to SSN. Risky.
  11. I really hope he doesn't switch to a back 3, largely to accommodate the City loanee. Mowbray struggles to have our back line in any reasonable order as it is without making life even more complicated.
  12. Be interesting to watch tonight's game. I was thinking after Friday's shambles, whether or not Mowbray has "lost the dressing room" or if maybe some of the players are starting to lose faith in the way Mowbray wants the team to play (answers on a postcard to that) Gallagher really didn't look happy when he trudged off after being subbed and Nyambe can't have been happy with being subbed off two games running and then hung out to dry by his manager. Also, although i didn't see it at the time, Sharpe mentioned that Arma was kicking off when we conceded the second goal. Potentially a bit of disharmony creeping in amongst the players but tonight could be a good indicator of that.
  13. If he hasn't improved over the last 2 season it because the manager: Likes to throw him under the bus Doesn't believe in formations (this helps no one) Can't organise a defence to save his life Has poor coaching staff Nyambe is a decent right back and under a better manager who actually gives the team some shape, organisation and pays some attention to the defence, he would improve no end.
  14. Nar, I stopped reading those comments a long time ago.
  15. Only a small group of people in India, I would suggest right now.
  16. Phew, only 28 games in! I was getting worried for a few years there. Right, so now he claims we are only just building our "identity" and the last few seasons were just to consolidate our position. This is literally, the slowest build ever. I'm not sure exactly what kind of identity we are trying to build now? We have very little shape, organisation and the players often look like they just met in the car park before kick off.
  17. I see dinosaur Micks Cardiff are 2 up away at Luton and up to 7th as it stands. In fairness Tony "Good football" Mowbray's Rovers do have 2 games in hand but I wouldn't stick a mercer on him using the advantage.
  18. Yer, we need a couple more defeats so the anger turns to apathy before the magical win happens.
  19. Who knows what Mowbray will do. There will be something that's not right. He'll either start Gallagher right wing...sigh...or i could see him starting Harwood-Bellis at right back in Nyambe's place, or both 😖
  20. How and where would you play him, just out of interest?
  21. He needs to play regular first team football before he is any use to us. Loan him for the season and see how he gets on.
  22. Well that's depressing but not unexpected.
