Just waiting for the club to announce Mowbray has signed a new contract. He's clearly still got the ear of Venkys if he can bypass nearly 100 applications and just appoint another one of his mates. Terrible decisions all round, as usual at Rovers. Going to be a long season of struggle ahead.

Finished RE7 earlier. Really good game. Turns into a bit of a shoot fest towards the end with all those f***ed up things coming for you but I had plenty of ammo and a shit load of strong chems to make some more Enhanced handgun ammo. I'd also snared enough coins to grab the .44 mag as well, which helped alot. Downside was, just as Chris Redfield introduced himself in the end scene, my wife and 4 year old came home so I had to turn it off and missed the bloody ending!!

Can't see him changing the system now. He's spent the last few seasons telling us the way to get promoted is to dominate the ball, have more possession etc. To revert to hoofing it up to a target man would be against everything he's said about the way he wants us play, the identity he claims to be building. If we had to sit through that garbage second half of the season with an odd win in 17 games trying to persevere with this system with the belief that it would come good eventually, only to shift policy almost immediately would be a complete a joke and should only result in Mowbray's dismissal (but it wouldn't) Would be a complete piss take if he did that. Luckily, it doesn’t look like we are actually signing this guy, so its probably all irrelevant anyway 😂

I notice that RE7 has a lot of background noises, like things being knocked over or sounds like a door opening/closing, which add to the tension when you know someone is walking around the house looking for you. You kinda get used to it but it must add alot to the VR experience.

Also, @DE. If you didn't throw your VR headset out of the window when you saw that clown in that chair, you've got some serious stones my man.

It would be random, even for Venkys, to leave him in place from the end of the season until now, just to bin him off as pre season started.

Sadly, you'll likely be correct on both points there. No mention of an option for another year, so if he does play well, we could end up losing him for nothing at the end of the season.

Happy that Chapman has signed a new deal. If, and its a big if, he can stay fit and get some game time it would be great to see him take Gallagher off the wing. I'm genuinely not sure why he signed the deal though.

100% We will never get anywhere under Venkys regime. The only way would be if they appointed a competent Chief Exec to run the club (day to day stuff etc.) They could still have final say on transfers and big decisions but the current setup is destined to fail. Of course, 11 years in and they have never appointed one and obviously binned off the last one as soon as they got through the door. Horrific decision that the club has been paying the price for ever since.
