  1. And yet people seem to think he's done/is doing a good job.
  2. So Mowbray is under no pressure despite us being complete and utter shite? Venkys can just go and jump off a cliff right now. I feel like this is all part of the typical Venkys cycle we end up in. It's now obvious the manager is poor and we basically keeping getting pissed off with him every game before it just turns to apathy. Then, when it's months later than it should have been, Venkys finally pull the trigger and the cycle resets.
  3. His entire job is to make sure this doesn't happen or to make sure the team can sufficiently deal with it when it does.
  4. It wasn't that long ago, when we were probably a less attractive option, we basically had Neil Warnock all but in the seat. A manager with an incredible record at this level. Obviously, Venkys decided to fuck that one up, big time but he was still willing to take over as manager. We can do better than Mowbray.
  5. Because I wasn't angry enough I decided to watch the highlights. I have no idea what Walton was doing for that goal, sadly the backup keeper is just as bad. So it's like deciding which arm you want chopping off. Not much case for a defense for the rest either. So poor. Gallagher took his goal really well to be fair. Probably the only highlight.
  6. One reason why Mowbray is such an infuriating manager, the situation we find ourselves in is all of his own making. The architect of his own downfall.
  7. As far as I'm concerned, regular individual mistakes stem from the manager. Under poor managers, teams make plenty of them, under good managers the errors are far less. When Allardyce replaced Ince, the mistakes were cut out almost instantly. Players knew their job and the teams tactics pretty clearly. Obviously players still make mistakes every now and again but they are far less common. Not every game. It's no surprise our players make mistakes, does anyone even know what tactics Mowbray tries to play?
  8. They've stayed silent for years now. I don't live in Blackburn, so when people find out I'm a Rovers fan, one of the first questions I get these days is "Are you still owned by the Venkys?" And when I say yes, there is generally some astonishment followed by some laughter. Our reputation is still well and truly in the gutter.
  9. We are now in a relegation scrap. We wont fight our way out of it, our only hope is that there are 3 teams worse than us. And we have the significant handicap of an atrocious manager.
  10. To be honest, we've been like that for 10 years. Venkys have only ever appointed a string of poor managers, we just do the same cycle every time. None of them have ever managed to instill any form of winning mentality because they aren't good enough.
  11. He really needs to go but I genuinely think we will be stuck with him until the new year. Venkys ALWAYS make the wrong decision.
  12. He just knew he would probably be getting some abuse from the fans. He won't be going anywhere.
  13. Abysmal. Mowbray needs to go now. I don't want to see him mismanage another Rovers game. Ever. Worst bit. I stuck £5 on preston when we were 2 up. Worst bet I've ever won.
  14. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Sack him now.
  15. Tragic that it feels like after being 2 ups we are now going to lose. Fuck off Mowbray. Useless.
  16. And it's back to normal.
  17. What the hell is going on!?!
  18. Get in! HOLD (for 89mins! ?)
  19. Well to be fair to Mowbray, his team selection is in line with his pre match comments.
  20. Why do they get 4 centre mids and we get 0?
  21. ? We will be lucky to keep it to 3. Bennett and Evan's in CM! WTF!!
  22. Do you think he'll move Bennett to right wing? I think he'll just drop Nyambe.
  23. I honestly don't know how anyone can have any confidence in Rovers to get anything tomorrow after the way hes spoke about the game.
