  1. Lee Bowyer probably did.
  2. No Rothwell Mulgrew and Downing start
  3. 2 mins and we can see if we have progressed in anyway shape or form.
  4. Expecting to beat them is one thing but expecting us put 6 past them is crazy, no matter how poor you think they are.
  5. ?? All you do is slate the manager and his signings as not being good enough. Now we are sticking 6 past someone?
  6. Sky do hate us. I don't reckon we will make the play offs but i think we will finish higher than 19th
  7. Nuttall leaving is probably best for everyone. The lad is lethal at U23 level but doesn't seem to have the same impact in the first team. Guessing we won't be getting much for him if he's off to Blackpool
  8. I reckon we still start: -----------------Walton Benno---Lenihan--Mulgrew--Downing ----------Travis---Johnson Gally---------Dack--------Armstrong --------------Graham I can't see him starting the city lad, nor can i see him paying £5m for Gally and not playing him either. Brereton might start upfront ahead of DG too, after bagging a couple in preseason
  9. I await his first red card with great anticipation
  10. Any chance of me bedding Natalie Portman? Thought not.
  11. I think the frustration (for me at least) is that the majority of our business so far has been decent. However it will be undone by failing to sign the defender we need. Looks like we've had targets and missed out, which is a shame. Sounds like we are working towards getting some in. So let's hope we get these deals over the line.
  12. It's not that i don't get it, i just didn't like it. As Stuart says, people should do what they love and if this is what this guy loves to do then all credit it to him for getting this far. Again, huge credit to the bloke if he's not trying to be something he isn't and yep he should be proud of his achievements. Music is obviously hugely subjective and this guys work just won't be for everyone, that's just the way life is.
  13. He does it, so when we draw 1-1, he can beat Mowbray with another stick.
  14. Probably old news now but Boateng has left to join villa. Interestingly, he apparently applied for the U23's role here. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17800970.rovers-youth-coach-leaves-aston-villa/
  15. Mowbray mentioned he was hopeful we would be signing one today, i'm guessing that would finally be the Man City kid?
  16. Not doubting your assessment Skip, in fact it's very encouraging. I know a lot of players start out in different positions before finding a home somewhere, I just want him to find his sooner rather than later, to avoid him becoming a jack of all trades master of none. If Full back/wing back is where his future lies, then great. We need good players in those areas!
  17. I actually watched this about a month ago for the first time since it was released. The Tifa v Loz fight popped up on YouTube, so I decided to watch it all. I enjoyed it a lot more this time than before. The animation and graphics are incredible, given how old it actually is. I watched Kingsglaive shortly after, the work gone into that is on a different planet.
  18. He might be able to play any position in the under 23's but as Nuttall shows, playing Championship level is totally different. He needs a position nailing down if he's stepping up. Otherwise he'll be another Bennett, average everywhere or Phil Jones, just ruined entirely.
  19. Great to see us linked to a centre back. Hopefully this one comes off
  20. In typical Mowbray fashion, hasn't he been playing RB in pre season? (JRC that is)
  21. If we spend £2.5m on Sinclair with the gaping holes in our back line, I'll be fuming.
  22. They've changed the rules regarding goal kicks. You no longer need to wait until the ball leaves the area, play is active as soon as it leaves the keepers foot. I saw a video of Inter playing it out from the keeper the other day. I then saw one from someone else who passed it straight to an opposing striker who scored. Guess which one we will be?
  23. And us! Mowbray loves Benno. Easy to see why. His attitude is spot on, works hard, tries to keep the team going, never one to give up etc. He will be keen to keep in the team as much as possible. The breakthrough of Travis and the experience of Johnno sees him out of a CM spot. He'll keep him at RB for as long as poss. Shame, looking at today's team we have no pace in that back 4 at all. Nyambe and Bell would go a long way to resolving that.
  24. Comfortably one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life.
  25. Wait...........We're the back 4?
