I have no doubts we will be lining up with a back 3 against Ipswich. Mowbray wanted us to play that last season and I think injuries forced his hand to switch formation and it worked, so he had to stick with it. But it was always coming back.

Glenn Johnson was never worth £18million, he may have been sold for that much but he was never worth it. He'll turn 34 in a month and has a nice history with injuries to go with that. He would be here for one reason and one reason only, a final pay day.

Not sure he ever turned into the player people thought he would after he left here. He also suffered an ACL injury a couple of season back, always a concern with those types of injuries.

Need to see how he gets on in pre season, hopefully he does well and catches Mogga's eye. Evans shouldn't be an automatic starter, far from it in fact.

I don’t know much about the lad but it’s good to see Mogga bringing in young players who have a point to prove and will fight for a first team place. A far cry from the overpaid dross, who we’re past it and only came for a final payday. Also good to see 2 central midfielders coming in, been our weakest area for a long time.
