Bad times. I have no love for Bolton but not really a good thing seeing a club going into Admin. As JH points out, its the small & local businesses that will suffer. As well as the non playing staff at the club who need jobs. How many points will get added to the 12 for failing to fulfill the Brentford game? It's going to be a double relegation for them, just to cap it off.

Used to be a player that i would have been happy to bring in a few years back. He's been a free agent since end of jan/start of Feb and currently still clubless. Possibly worth a look but 32 years old and wages might be a problem.

Incredible stuff at Bolton. It just looks like it will end in an even bigger mess than it is now. I don't know a great deal about this Bassini character but his time at Watford appears to have been a disaster. Unsure how I'd feel if I was a trotter. Things will either stay similar to how they are now or get much worse. I can't see it getting much better under this shady new owner.

Didn't we end up in a similar situation with Nelsen being Club captain and Samba as captain on a matchday? But yer, not sure how that really worked either.

Actually seems the wrong way round as well. You beat Emerald and trade the earth harp for master magic, summon and command materia and then beat ruby, trade the desert rose for a gold chocobo, which you must have already so you can get KOTR to beat Ruby/Emerald in the first place!

Concerning but not unexpected

Seems like a fairly reasonable assessment of what's going to happen This season we've also seen a lot of our U23 players signed up to new contracts. Mowbray might even play the "I want to see which players can step up in pre season before going to the transfer market" line. Budget is also a factor, I can't see us having a lot to spend when we signed AA/BB for decent money. Realistically, we aren't going to have the budget we need to replace all the players that need it. No idea how Mowbray will prioritise transfers but I would hope he has critical positions that need sorting first to avoid wasting what money we have and then he will get what he can after that. I can't see him being ultra ruthless or like you say, people queuing up to take our dross either. Could be interesting this summer, could be one gigantic damp squib.

Is he a lone striker/target man type though? (Asking because I don't know) If not, we'll need to adjust the formation/tactics in order to accommodate him and give him a fair chance.
