The squad needs a huge overhaul. Plenty of the current set up aren't good enough. Based on what hes done in the market so far, would anyone want him overseeing such a huge task in the summer. Even if Venkys loosen the purse strings, would you trust Mowbray to spend it well? This is before we even begin to discuss the absolute defensive shambles we see on a match day. Sadly, the next managerial appointment Venkys make will inevitably be another shocker. They are yet to appoint a decent one as owners of Blackburn Rovers. Bowyer was as good as it got. So, are we prepared for another roll of the Venky dice? As it stands, with Mowbray in charge we are likely to be in a relegation battle next season (not that he can instill any fight in the squad, so basically we are relegated if he stays) so perhaps sacking him now is the better option.

Just seen the highlights. League one defending and it's all come about because of Mowbray and his awful effort in the transfer market. £7m on BB and £1.5m on Arma, 2 total waste of transfer fees, when money was needed for other areas of the pitch. Raya has turned into an awful keeper and needs dropping and replacing in the summer.

Always tough to get something here, largely because we are utterly abysmal and Bruce knows what he is doing.

This is how the back 4 will lineup. Someone posted an interview of Mowbrays earlier in the thread and he was saying how Del boy will be considered a CB for the time being. Bennett will be in at right back and most likely to be captain too.

It's a fair shout, Bennett has struggled at right back for a while now. I'd prefer Reed in CM but needs must.

Not saying he'll get on. Just more of a concern that you're saying he's not ready and now he's in the squad, all it takes is Nyambe or Williams injury (both could very well happen) and he's on, which is worrying based on what you've seen of the lad.
