  1. I've seen nothing either way lately. However, by all accounts it was supposed to be a done deal at the end of last week and it's gone very quiet. So, who knows what's going on.
  2. ?‍♂️ Where have you heard this?
  3. How long did he have left on his contract before signing this new one? I suspect we get him on new contract and loan him out in hope that a League One club will buy us off him in the future.
  4. It probably will be that line up in both the Blackpool and Charlton fixtures but not starting Rothwell is criminal.
  5. It's a shame he's looking at that way. If we want to move forward and progress we should be signing a first choice centre back, pushing Willo or Mulgrew out, whichever he rates the least.
  6. We might just buy another one yet! True though, if we've done our homework, we should be able to get a good CB in with that money.
  7. I'd be more concerned about the Raya money vanishing into a Venky blackhole (or Bala's pocket) I'm just happy it's still there.
  8. BB getting in on the act. Can only be a good thing.
  9. The better wing backs are pretty rapid. They need to be as they need to cover a lot of ground quickly. If Mowbray has singed him to be a wingback/left back then thats a poor decision.
  10. Yer, i think he will be off on loan. He needs to really. Scores a lot at under 23 level but needs a full season in a proper league.
  11. We signing this City lad today then?
  12. Good that we have finally got a keeper in. No idea what he's like though!
  13. He wouldn't have joined Man Utd. As for joining anyone else, how the hell would anyone know, he wasn't even a bloody footballer!
  14. You're not Jack Walker, so no you can't. So he wouldn't have gone to Man Utd (its not always about Man Utd, although with you it is), what about any of the other big clubs around? When are we even talking? Now? 1995? 1950?
  15. Impossible to answer that. You can't answer it either. Like many situations in life, you can't guarantee how anyone will act until that moment happens, no matter what they say before hand. Of course, it could happen but realistically, it won't. But i genuinely do admire your optimism
  16. Good start..... I guess Nyambe will be played there if needed. Lenny and Mulgrew for the first few games then
  17. Is that other lad still on trial with us?
  18. As always, we can only wait and see how he does at Reading and how we do without him.
  19. Clutching a straws a bit on that one. The gap between the rich and poor clubs is getting bigger and bigger. And money does all the talking. If Man City came in for Travis, we wouldn't see him for dust. And who could blame him? Possibly a once in a lifetime chance to play alongside some of the best players in the world, in the top league, playing champions league football, winning trophies, under the best manager in the game and getting paid a kings ransom to do so, setting him up for life. The days of true loyalty are gone in football. At best, they'd come back in the twilight of their career and play for the club they support again. Don't get me wrong, someone like Travis turning round and saying he's a huge Rovers fan, becomes one of the best midfielders in the game and stays here for his whole career, rejecting big money moves along the way, would be incredible. Sadly, it just won't happen.
  20. You've always had a weird thing for Coyle, never understood why. He is a truly fucking abysmal manager.
  21. He is back, i think. He posted a couple of pages back
  22. If he persists with Benno at right back, this lad will be recalled by Xmas.
  23. Happy to loan this lad but Mowbray has a history of not playing loan players or not playing them in their correct position. If he is our only defensive reinforcement, he needs to be good enough to be playing most weeks.
