  1. Although I don't know who would actually do anything but if the club isn't being funded by the owners due to their illegal activity, isn't their anyway someone can step in and do something about this? I mean, they can't possibly be deemed fit and proper by the EFL if they can't fund the club as they are under investigation for fraud? (I know the EFL are a complete and utter joke) We have been forced to sell Wharton, our now record fee, in order to keep the lights on, all because the owners are (potentially) criminals, doesn't feel right.
  2. People were cracking out the bubbly when K**n finally left. Be street parties going on for days if we managed to get shut of these cretins.
  3. Which is exactly why he's a No.2 and not good enough to be a No.1 at this level.
  4. Is the comment underneath correct? I don't even know where you would find what players agents are.
  5. Hungary win at the death! Scotland are going home 🏡
  6. Isn't Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink still on the staff?
  7. In this article: https://watsonramsbottom.com/watson-ramsbottom-solicitors-celebrate-record-breaking-growth-with-appointments-of-new-directors-senior-associates-and-associate-solicitors/#:~:text='In that same 3 year,' Watson Ramsbottom say they had a turnover of £8m over a 3 year period (the figure published at the end of 2021), so a few years old now. No idea what sort of profit margins companies achieve but if it's say 20% they'd only be getting circa £1.5m in profits over 3 years. Our deal isn't going to be a lot (even if my maths are sketchy at best)
  8. That's a thing of beauty 😍
  9. A better send off for totally wicked than they gave Gregg Broughton.
  10. Just to double down on ruling out potential candidates because they aren't English. He's championing Howe (a former Dingle he wouldn't have at Rovers!?!), Potter and O'Neil, none of whom have any international managerial experience, over Klopp (not saying he would take the job) who has achieved more than all 3 put together at club level.
  11. You haven't given any benefits at all, you're response was "They are English"
  12. So, there are no benefits then? And should Rovers only appoint a manager from Blackburn?
  13. What's the benefit of having an English manager over a foreign one? And with that logic, should Rovers only appoint a manager who's from Blackburn?
  14. Do we know of we've made any attempt to get Gilsenan on a new deal?
  15. Oh, never mind about the horrible sponsor!
  16. Home and away kits look great (sponsor aside) but that pink one is horrid.
  17. A bizarre take really, we just need the best manager for the job. Their nationality means very little.
  18. Yeah, pretty funny really that pre-tournament everyone was putting out a proposed midfield/attack and saying "What's stopping England winning the Euro's with this attacking lineup?" And now it's the defence that's stepped up and attack that's letting us down. And Cole Palmer is glued to the bench.
  19. Oh yeah, Walker is miles better than TAA, I agree. Just saying if he has to play, he needs to play RB but I'd start Walker ahead of him. Saka has to start on the right but Foden has been poor on the left. His best work comes when he is behind the striker. Don't think Bowen, Gordon or Eze are top level players but if they are more natural wide players than Foden (not sure if they all are) then they will surely be more effective than shoehorning a player on the left foe the sake of it.
  20. Another poor performance from England and Southgate has some real decisions to make. As expected, the TAA experiment failed spectacularly for the 2nd game running, the lad is no where near a top level CM. We are also down to the classic England conundrum, where we have a group of talented players and are desperate to shoehorn them into the starting 11, purely because we feel we have to, despite it being detrimental to the team overall. He's got to pick either Foden or Bellingham for the role behind Harry Kane. Saka on the right with one of Eze, Bowen or Gordon on the left to give an effective outlet on that wing. Mainoo or Wharton (obviously backing Wharton here) alongside Rice and drop TAA (or play him at RB) Not taking a fit LB is looking to be a poor decision from Southgate, Tripper has done OK but nothing more really. He needs to make some big decisions for the rest of the tournament or I suspect we'll be on our way home after the first round of knockout games.
  21. I have absolutely no doubts about that tbh.
  22. I mean if Steve K**n comes anywhere near this football club again, I'll literally stop supporting Rovers.
