  1. Commentator spot on "I don't see why Rovers play like that....only inviting pressure"
  2. Garrett needs to come off... he's not ready for a game like this Gallagher doing his usual, hasn't found a blue shirt with a pass yet
  3. Brereton soft there, should have put his body across the Burnley defender
  4. Brittain is a very good right back, not a left back. He gets the angles wrong and caught out of position and he's less effective going forward. Doesn't make any sense
  5. Harwood-Bellis is class. We're chasing shadows at the moment
  6. Ayala playing in an effective back 5 worries me.
  7. Good bowling and catching now finish the job
  8. At least we took part.
  9. You have to say releasing Raya was a mistake; it seemed obvious at the time and it's been proved true with his success at Brentford. He made some mistakes as all young goalkeepers do but the talent was there and it was clear he was going to develop into a top goalkeeper. When you consider who was taking his place at the time he left and the subsequent appalling replacements Raya's departure has to go down as one of Tony's worst decisions
  10. There's been 12 cricket World Cups England have won 1 I know you struggle with simple concepts but that's poor
  11. Light bulb moment. 10 watts
  12. OK, amended The tactics of endlessly playing the ball around at the back and it causing us problems is a fact, not opinion. The defeats at Luton, Reading and Coventry and one of two others were a direct result of defenders giving the ball away.

  14. England's record is very poor. Glad you agree
  15. Australia 5 wins India, West Indies 2 wins England 1 win (first appearance in final in 27 years) Abysmal
  16. There was a world before Gareth Southgate England rugby.... one World Cup win. Look it up England football over the past 60 years....one World Cup win. Look it up England cricket....one World Cup win. Look it up Abysmal I'd say
  17. England haven't won the T20 yet. The football and cricket and rugby teams' record in big tournaments is abysmal For a supposed "major" sporting nation we are very poor and consistently punch below our weight. That's the reality
  18. It was silly because England's sporting record is so poor and doesn't bear any relation to the cloud cuckoo-land you inhabit
  19. Too many players out of form and Southgate seems to have lost his way England could under-perform expectations in a World Cup that few people want or are looking forward to
  20. Liverpool or Man City away. If there's a virtually unwinnable tie we'll get it.
  21. Hopefully, but bitter experience shows it's best to be cautious - unlike Chaddy's rose-tinted flag waving nonsense. Which England and which Rovers will turn up? The ones that were so lame against Ireland or at Coventry or the teams that played so well today and at West Ham England slaughtered the All Blacks in the rugby WC semi-final and were favourites to beat SA in the final but were absolutely dreadful. The same could happen on Sunday That's why last night and today was so enjoyable. and why it's best not to expect the same in he next match
  22. Silly post England are just as capable of losing by 10 wickets
  23. Staggering. England don't do easy victories. After losing to Ireland too Hope it's not like the rugby WC..... brilliant against NZ in the semis then not turn up in the final Great win though. I'm sure the convicts enjoyed watching
  24. 52-0 off 5..... good start!
