  1. Forgotten what it's like .....a player in blue and white halves scoring goals He looked a much more confident player when he was younger and certainly hasn't "trained on" in racing parlance. I'm sure being stuck on the right wing hasn't helped but at his age he should now be the finished article, leading from the front and banging in the goals
  2. Wharton and van Hecke might have a chance as squad players with lower Prem clubs, Nyambe and Lenihan maybe too That's about it. Big question mark over Brereton... still don't think he'd cut it
  3. Graham and Gallagher trained and played together at Rovers for a few seasons ...... that was when Gallagher should have been watching and learning how to do it. Gallagher hasn't learnt a thing. It's far too late now
  4. "It doesn't fit in with our system and the way we play" - Tony Mowbray
  5. Mike England in the relegation season 1965-66. Stuck him up front IIRC and it worked for a while. Seems to remember him scoring in a 4-1 win at Turf Moor - I was there!! Just about the only plus point in a dire season All this is hazy memories now but yes why not stick one of our big centre halves in the forward line and bang crosses at him - anything's work trying and better than Gallagher
  6. Well spotted. It's a comedy and a tragedy at the same time Anyone could write the script with Mowbray's Rovers
  7. Much ado about nothing-nothing Best chance of promotion in 10 years blown It's a Shakespearean tragedy
  8. We should change our name to Blackburn Nil instead of Rovers
  9. 700 minutes and counting since a goal from open play..... it's "only a matter of time"
  10. Rovers the only goalless game in the Championship tonight
  11. Loads of people predicted 0-0 tonight, hope they all put bets on
  12. The ship that was 2nd place sailed weeks ago
  13. You have to wonder what the Rovers players say to each other privately about Sam Gallagher.
  14. Not all, some say he's very good at running around alot
  15. Luton and Sheff U 1 point behind us both with a game in hand as it stands
  16. So how long since we scored a goal from open play?
  17. Concrete in his boots instead of feet.
  18. Gallagher the only "recognised" forward in that line-up.......... prepare for a goal fest
  19. Mike Hickman .... someone to stick the ball in the net From Plymouth, Chorley lad Paul Mariner
  20. What a fantastic game ...... thousands there from Plymouth too I bet you thought all football matches were like that😃 RIP Gordon Lee, good manager for BRFC
  21. 48-4 No matter who England play, home or away, weak teams or strong teams, the batting fails 9 times out of 10
  22. To proper Lancastrians it is. And so are Manchester, Liverpool, Southport, Barrow, Warrington and Widnes .
  23. Dolan is like a wasp - buzzes around alot and is very annoying but doesn't actually have much use. Until he starts scoring goals and doing his twists and turns in areas that matter - in and around the penalty box - his value to the team is minimal. He looked like a little boy lost at Fulham
