  1. Not been a good week has it, with the cricket and Rovers? Far better to half a glass empty, then you're not as disappointed
  2. I've never seen such a disinterested bunch of players as in the last 3 games. They were just going through the motions tonight
  3. Just a continuation of the QPR / Preston games. Absolutely appalling
  4. Eric Morecambe to Andre Previn: "Listen, I play the right notes but not necessarily in the right order." Tony Mowbray to the media: "Listen, I pick the right players but not necessarily in the right places"
  5. Gallagher finished at right back in the PNE match. What did he do wrong?
  6. Two rookie teenage plus Bennett in defence. This isn't going to end well
  7. Nyambe should ask for a transfer and no one could blame him
  8. Football specials were great fun for supporters and good revenue earners for the railways but all too often this happened. You can't blame BR for stopping laying them on
  9. Yes, I'd rather your donation went to a homeless charity instead of a football club if possible
  10. 45-3. My 250 target looking optimistic now
  11. He bowled badly though which is why he was dropped. Two of those wickets were very lucky and second innings he bowled more full tosses that balls he pitched
  12. Bess bowled like a drain in the first test. England stuffed here, 250 would be a good score batting 4th some brainless bowling by moeen at the moment. Pitching far too short
  13. Root got a top edge to a sweep shot, didn't get over it and roll his wrists like Rohit who played the sweep beautifully right through his big innings. It's hard to believe England will bat as badly again but India probably have enough runs on the board to declare now
  14. I think you're being unfair Rev. The lad's about 17, he's not fully grown and he's still a baby in football terms, and his form has dipped a bit but his ability sticks out like a sore thumb in our team of plodders and he never gives less than 100%.
  15. Same could be said about the first Test - would England have won if India had had first use of that pitch? Winning the toss, batting 1st and trying to make a big score seems to be the preferred tactics in Test cricket these days.
  16. More about England bowling poorly and a brilliant skilful innings by Rohit plus Ashwin being in a different league to our spinners. I don’t think we would have made anything like 330 batting first. It is a poor test match pitch though specially prepared to suit India
  17. 134 all out. Ashwin far too good as predicted Heavy defeat on the cards. please send £5 to your favourite charity
  18. 106-8. why don’t you listen to the experts?
  19. Do you follow cricket? Have you played the game? England making a big score on that pitch against high class Indian spin bowlers is highly unlikely. It’s possible of course but historically the odds on an England victory from this position on the sub continent are very small. £5 on an India victory by an innings?
  20. Absolutely no way IMO. Ashwin will be unplayable on this pitch.
  21. This doesn’t look good. England will have to bat 4th on a poor pitch that is already turning and looks like it’s been prepared specially for Ashwin
  22. That's how I saw it Nyambe dragged across because of the cock-up between Lenihan and Branthwaite Gallagher is the right winger so he should have been tracking the left back That goal was down to Gallagher - and a brilliant strike by their player
  23. The players aren't listening and they don't fear or respect him
  24. He doesn't want to be promoted. Far too risky. Years and years bumbling along in mid table is better for his pension fund
  25. Yep, I bet the Raos are sitting at home saying exactly the same
