  1. Reading content to sit back and watch our lot pass among ourselves because they know it's not gojng to amount to anything
  2. Passing to no purpose backwards, sideways, and backwards again isn't playing well.
  3. Every game. And it's usually around the 20 minute mark we concede. And it's usually a soft goal. It's all so predictable
  4. Mowbray has to do something to turn this around. We're heading for 1 point out of 21. It cannot go on
  5. Equally clueless. I know he can't help it but Mowbray always like a frightened rabbit Big Mick working his magic. Our manager says possession's more important
  6. Brereton's gone back to type....hopeless. He just cannot hold the back up with his back to goal
  7. Buy shares in the bookmakers' companies. You'll make far more than following his bets
  8. Lots of passing to no purpose. Looks nice but achieves anothing
  9. You're kidding right? Flopped at United understandably following in Ferguson's footsteps but did a very good job for years at Everton and the same now at West Ham. Admittedly not won anything but very few have outside the elite managerial club. He's a top manager
  10. Done my bit 50 years ago! Time for you lot to have a a go
  11. I was in the Nuttall St stand towards the Darwen End which was unusual as we normally didn't sit. Most Liverpool fans were at the Darwen End and were in a foul mood as they left the ground. A few of their bottles landed in the Nuttall St stand. Horrible lot.
  12. Can still see the Harrison penalty in my mind's eye. Nearly broke the net as usual
  13. Thanks for that. I didn't see St John play in the case. It was a great game, Liverpool went 2-0 up early then we pulled it back to 2-2 by half time and scored the winner in the second half. This is all from memory nearly 60 years ago so might be wrong! Liverpool supporters weren't happy - lots of beer bottles being thrown around after the final whistle.
  14. Protest outside boardroom / main stand before the game; protest inside the ground during the game; protest outside again after the game. Make feelings known, loud, clear and often, a bit of passion. I really don't see the point of boycotts.
  15. Glenn Roeder yesterday, Ian St John today. Peter Lorimer very ill too. All these great players from the past passing away, inevitable but still sad. I only saw Liverpool at Ewood once, when we came back from 2-0 down to beat them 3-2, circa 1964 ? Assume St John was in that side.
  16. What a load of rubbish, and proof that he over-complicates and overthinks the game. If he's talking that sort of stuff in the dressing room it's no wonder the players wander around dazed and confused - how are they supposed to decipher that? Football's pretty simple - play your best players in the right positions and let them get on with it.
  17. Staying at home, hoping the problem will go away, and you need virtually everyone to do it. It won't happen and it won't work
  18. You don't get regime change by staying away, in effect doing nothing.
  19. On past form it's at low points like this that Mowbray turns it around and we go on another unbeaten run. However, it feels different this time. The team looks listless and disinterested. I'd be amazed if we avoid defeat
  20. Quite right Rev. But no use complaining on here. What are fans going to do about it?
  21. Didn't Watford have 4 managers in one season the previous time they won promotion? Instability clearly works at some clubs
  22. The players can't be enjoying themselves, they certainly don't look as if they are. I remember from my playing days when it wasn't going right; there's nothing worse than turning up for matches knowing you're likely to lose and you just want to get the season over with. That's how Rovers look at the moment.
  23. Some KInd of Nothingness ...... the Manic Street Preachers Rovers anthem under Tony
