John Eustace has decided he’s had enough at Ewood and will leave Rovers at the first opportunity. There are many reasons why he has become disenchanted with the club. The lack of signings this window is one frustration but it is a symptom of what he sees as the main problem, which is the complete lack of any communication with the owners and the resultant absence of decision making at the club. Not unreasonably he wants to know what are the owners plans for the future and their vision for the years ahead. His requests for information have met stonewalling from the Ewood hierarchy and his own attempts to contact the owners have not been successful. In short, he sees no future for the club as it stands and as an ambitious manager he does see a future for himself either. He wants to leave. He has applied for several jobs in recent weeks, including West Brom and Coventry, and he will be applying for any appealing vacancy at this level that arises. So he could be gone in weeks, or it might be months, but his days at the club are numbered. This information came from senior sources within the club.

They were great days Den but I’d be happy to return to how the club was being run under Williams and Allardyce. We didn’t know how lucky we were and how fragile it all was. I look at the likes of Brentford (really?) and Bournemouth (!!!) in the Premier League and Burnley 🤢 and how well they are managed and our predicament is so frustrating
