Sunderland are a better example. They have grown the value of their squad by keeping hold of their Academy starlets. Then selling when in a strong position. I think they had the most academy players playing in the championship this season
-
Dullest league in the world
-
The top 4 championship teams had the highest squad values. The lowest squad value of any surviving Premier league team is still double that of any of the promoted teams. All the relegated prem teams have higher squad values than the promoted teams There's the gap

Congrats to Aberdeen too
-
First 50+ Million parachute payment just kicked in for Sheff Utd
-
Sheff Utd do seem to have a vast array of shit strikers to choose from
-
and their best player Hamer is off
-
Didn't see that coming
-
and the sad thing is they will be a dreadful Premier team and still head and shoulders above championship level

More power for Rudi and a big wage bill gone -
They won the Full Members Cup I'd say that was Major
-
Shame it wasn't the keeper with his hands
-
The standard of strikers in the Championship is appalling
-
I wanted Bilbao to win it as they used to play in old Rovers kits (As did Athletico Madrid)
-
All time top division
-
Wierdly at the bottom every team has their fate in their own hands (i'm discounting Plymouth) At the top only Bristol City and Cov do
-
OR We win Preston draw Hull and Luton win Derby draw Coventry or Millwall don't win
-
That was never a contest. Bristol in damage limitation mode from the start.
-
Is this Sky or LUFCTV. The fawning is sickening anyways 1-0
-
How you managed to rake in so much for the dross you sold is amazing
-
Not if they lose and Leeds win final game
-
With the first playoff game only 5 days later I can see Sheff Utd playing a weakened but very physical team against us. They will want to give us as hard a game as possible in the event that we meet them in the playoffs. That's what i'd do anyway
-
Of the contenders opponents Sheff Utd nothing to play for (Us) Preston need something to stay up (Bristol City) Cov v Boro both need results Burnley need a win to have a chance at winning the league (Millwall)
-
If they don't get something they could easily be relegated
-
52 points to guarantee safety currently Luton's win effectively relegates Plymouth
