  1. Sad for Rovers but probably a life changing situation for a 17 year old and also his family. He will probably go on to a 5 figure a week wage at Spurs without them even blinking. It's a shocking way the system works for Rovers in this instance but I'm sure we too have benefitted hugely from it in the past. The kid could ultimately and has not to date, achieved anything. Good luck to him but its just another reason for me to dislike the shite club from North London.

  4. I think you could be a bind here. I don't think the tickets are transferable so sharing of a season ticket is in essence in breach of the T's & C's so I don't think you'll be able to bump the ticket up to a full price one and pay the difference.
  5. Came down from my office and Mrs. BigUts has made me a Tony special. I genuinely asked if he was due over...she just looked at me like the idiot that I am 😁
  6. Dreaming of JPVH walking out at Ewood vs. Dingles. Literally got hearts in my eyes. As they say; catching feels for loan players is never a good idea
  7. Don't get this. Surely then you also can't pass judgement on whether or not he is or is not worthy of your support (or whatever you'd like to call it), unless you compare it with your own experience of running a multi million pound football operation both pre and post a worldwide pandemic?
  8. 11 - I would have gone for Giggs. As a kid he fascinated me and I remember seeing him for the first time at Ewood and being mesmerised.
  9. Where did you see this @damo100 I can't seem to find it?
  10. Got a lovely one coupled with a nice clicky Parker pen. Stands me in good stead with my siive like memory.
  11. You have a sensational memory @glen9mullan. I go to meetings at work and can literally forget what was spoken about within 10 mins after it has finished!
  12. And genuinely no sarcasm intended!!

  14. Not the lad who ended up at Sheff Utd?
  15. WHam missing out on Lingard could see their interest re-emerge...
  16. Not unless you're willing to spend a lot of money acquiring the stickers... 👀
  17. I'd take him back. He was absolutely dreadful to begin with but the couple of games before his injury he really seemed to turn the corner and showed real glimpses of quality. Definitely allow us to send him back as part of the loan agreement this time though...!
  18. Agreed. Gallagher frustrates the shit out of me which is why I find him so annoying. In certain games he's an absolute monster and changes the way we play with desire, pressing from the front and using his physique. I think it was Derby at home were he was brought on and he didn't give the whole backline a seconds thought; winning headers, flick ons, slide tackling, blocking, slamming in to centre halves when they cleared the ball. If he could engage 'beast mode' 90% of the time instead of 10% he could easily be one of the best forwards in this league.
  19. Am I seeing almost universal agreement that this would be a decent signing?! Has the heat damaged the dimension we are living in?! Only really remember Brittain from his performance against us at Xmas but he seemed a good wing-back that day and did will going forwards. Who needs agent Benno when we've got agent @chaddyrovers!
