Trick is not to use any fabric softener and wash on a cool one -
23/24 kit; is a new sponsor needed?
BigUts replied to alex l's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
What about BT sport? Another £25. Then you would currently need Amazon which is another 8.99...and voila! The near £80 cost is upon us. You don't have to die on every hill, Chaddy. You can just accept the FACT that watching sport in a legitimate way is expensive in this country and turns people to illegitimate means. -
23/24 kit; is a new sponsor needed?

Yes they would. It's the same as our season tickets; you make it cheaper and people buy more of it. You might break even or even less on the main product, but make far more on the ancillary income as a consequenc. If sky did stand alone sports for £20 for everything, I and I'm sure most people would buy it and then you're likely to get other stuff with it. As it stands I won't pay £50+ a month JUST for sports and be forced to have loads of other shite I don't really want with it. -
23/24 kit; is a new sponsor needed?

It's bollocks that it costs £24 in manufacturing costs. I can get a fake replica delivered directly from China for the £25 that's made in the same factory. Tha fact is; it's a piss take and the cost of shirts are ridiculous. If they charged a reasonable amount people wouldn't buy fakes. The same as people using dodgy IPTV to watch sky, BT / TNT etc. Cost of the real thing is prohibitive so people turn elsewhere. If sky charged £20 a month for a reliable service everyone in the country would probably pay it. -

What an absolute disgrace. -

I think we've cut our nose off to spite our face with the clubs stance on betting sponsorships despite then getting in to bed with a another morally questionable sponsor... -
That's tragic for all concerned. Perhaps something could be done amongst Rovers fans as a collective to raise some cash and donate as one so Souness knows its from us?

Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
BigUts replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Kaminski is the better 'keeper hands down. He's also bigger and has much more a presence about him. I think there were a few occasions that Pears seemed to make bad decisions. The 1st goal conceded vs Norwich where he basically stood on his line is a prime example of this. Kaminski HAS to be No.1. I'd be interested to see points per game with and without him between the sticks. -

Hedges changed the game for the good, and then cost us the 3 points. Literally have no idea what he was doing there -

Hope so too. Played our best football all season when he's been in the side IMHO. Gives us an easy outlet to hit and his pace frightens defences -

Ticket sales for tonight are awful given the position we are in. Really feel like this should have been the £10 game rather than Reading a couple of weeks ago. Tonight is literally make or break for us. We simply have to win. -

I haven't read anything on the thread post game so apologies if anything I say has already been said: Was as bad as it gets. Reminded me of the Wigan game in January. Monday is going to be as hard as nails and Huddersfield will have a big crowd and be pumped. Dolan must start for his energy and obviously we will be without Thomas which makes it even more odd why he didn't start yesterday. The only positive for me from yesterday is that it's obvious Adam Wharton must start on Monday. He was a cut above when he came on and his movement and vision started to make things happen. Pears also out. He was awful for the opening goal opting to stay on his line and make it so easy for Gibbs to open his body and find the top corner.
