Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
SuperBrfc replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It's a good shout. Cole has inside information relating to the takeover too, as he revealed that somebody told him what was going to happen at Rovers in 2010 with this lot, Kean etc, months before it actually happened. Not that he would share with fans, but I feel he is one of a few former players that 'worries' the bastards behind the scenes. Does anybody know how the following video came about? It says he was sent by the 'League of 72' to shoot the video, but obviously somebody at the club cleared it for this to happen. Did he meet Waggott during this visit, I wonder, and what is his view of him now? Would be great if we could get in touch with Coley somehow, but it's a longshot. -

If this was Liverpool, United or any of the other big names, where two identical so called errors had been made messing up two transfers, there would be an investigation by media and non stop coverage until answers were given. As it's at Rovers all we'll see is outsiders laughing, a few "bizarre goings on at Blackburn" references and neutrals waving it off as "oh yeah, those chicken people, ha" before moving on to something else. We are likely to feel the after effects of these 'errors' for a long time to come in the transfer market as the pillocks have made us look like a laughing stock to be avoided. This needs investigating. I really can't see how Broughton is going to front up to this, after promising that nothing like the O'Brien situation would happen again. I'm not blaming Broughton for this or O'Brien though. There has been a constant theme throughout this 13 year mess and it all leads back to the same place. -
Well said. I am glad this place exists, because there are many here who have never forgotten the standards of this football club, many who have pride and ambition for the club, many who refuse to lower the standard, who refuse to accept mediocrity and refuse to be taken in by PR garbage about this joke regime. All of that is positive. The anger I feel is due to these owners throwing everything we had away, reducing standards to the floor and a large portion of the fanbase not only accepting it, but defending it too. I think that's why this thread has been created. To highlight some of the 'dangerous' views that are being shared. I only use that word because the spread of such, in many instances by plants and shills, only serves to enable the continuous downfall of this club. "Just be positive", they say. Let's take a look at that. This isn't aimed at fans in general who want to be optimistic or look for the positives. This is about those who ignore/don't see the issues at the club whilst calling fans like us the problem: "Without Venky's, Rovers are finished". - A positive view, is it? Ok. "Who will buy us, nobody would be interested in buying Rovers" - Yeah, positive. "Look at Bury, that could be us next" - very positive. "The club might not exist in a few years time" - Now THAT is being positive. "Nobody else would put in £20m a year" - positive. "We'd only get battered in the Premier League, we'd be straight back down" - positive. "Tomasson is poison, he has created a toxic atmosphere" - positive. "We're punching above our weight" - positive. "We overachieved under Mowbray" - Wow, extremely positive. Their "positive" outlook is hollow when you look at it. A display for social media, an attempt to win 'super fan' status, likes and followers. They have a low view of the club in reality, which is why they say all of the above and never mention trying to go up. No mention of wanting to get back to where we were before these owners turned up. Positive? My arse.

Fair play to the LT and Jackson on this one. Goes to show how important the LT could be in getting the truth out there and bringing fans together against this joke of an ownership. I mean, a lot of Rovers fans rely solely on the LT for their club news and there has rarely been an article like this in recent times. We've been saying many of these things for a while about the hierarchy, but get called angry, negative, conspiracy theorists etc. However, when the LT prints an article like this, it has an impact. Pleased to see many in the comments section there are now realising what the problem is. A few of those have been staunch Venky defenders in the past too. The tide might be turning. -
That does look like plant behaviour. Throw all of the propaganda into one post, surprisingly backing everything that the club has done. Add in the (false) idea that the club might not exist in the future to create a bit of fear and in turn, gratitude towards Venky's. Then throw in a "get over yourselves" as a show of what they really think about the people they are aiming it at. Oh and a "who will buy us" for good measure. Move along, Craigy boy. Next! That's the way they operate. Say anything against the fake positivity they are pedalling and they start throwing insults around and getting tetchy. Seen it on here too from one or two playing the long game.

I received a text this evening from a casual Rovers fan who stopped following the club during the Kean days. He's told me previously that he hasn't kept up to date with anything Rovers related in the time since. Anyway, he's been posting on the Rovers fan groups on FB these past few days and decided to share his thoughts with me. I open the text and I see all the classics before me. No other owner could fund Rovers like Venky's. They pump in so much money, Rovers are lucky that they do. Rovers would be finished without Venky's. Rovers don't have the fanbase to attract a new owner. Even if a new owner came in, it would make no difference because the club needs too much money pumping in. Amongst other complete tripe. Not one of those are his opinion, but all taken from the herd on FB. That's how easy it is to con people who have zero/little knowledge of the last 13 years. I took a deep breath and carried on watching Coronation Street. I'm tempted to ask him to get on the FB group and ask the Rovers fans what they think of our new striker. Tommy Orpington. -

I agree. As 'bad' as it may sound or unpopular it may be, I think we need the McGuire decision to go against us and for the Indian High Court to say no in March. It's for the greater good. Recent events show just how much of a shambles the club still is. Despite this, there are still large parts of the fanbase waiting for this McGuire deal to go through so that they can spin this window as being a success. "JDT wanted a striker. He's got one." "What more does he want GB/Waggott/the recruitment team to do. He needs to quit moaning". The Court approving the release of funds in March will likely set off a wave of sickening pro Venky propaganda, orchestrated by their hidden agent friends, with the naive beating the "look how loyal the owners are" and "the club is finished without their generosity" drums. More arguments, more confusion amongst the fans, whilst the enemy within takes the club down. Nah. We can't be doing with any of this shit. Most of us have had it up to here (head point) with this utter bullshit. Both situations need to go against the owners/club, for the greater good. -

SuperBrfc replied to tomphil's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I'm guessing it is GB who has resigned, if the info is accurate. He held his hands up last time, even though it may not have been his fault, and promised steps would be taken to ensure this never happens again. If the McGuire deal has gone the same way as O'Brien, I imagine it would be quite difficult for him to front up to the fans and explain this time round. It could be somebody else though, so let's see if anything becomes official. -

I know, it's staggering isn't it? I don't think anybody can claim the project hasn't changed and maintain a straight face. Hang on. There was one person who did exactly that in an interview. Publicly disputing JDT's view of the project. There will be genuine fans posting too, but a lot of the comments on the LT look sus to me. -

SuperBrfc replied to tomphil's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
According to one of them the 15 percent budget cut isn't a big amount, it doesn't affect the project, so why is JDT complaining. The same person also says that the project was always about developing players and selling them on, so this means the project hasn't changed at all. Oh and the 'Head of Football' (GB, I'm guessing) is incompetent and a disgrace for what has happened during the past two January windows. Hmm. -

The crazy and sad thing is, underneath all of the piss taking, the jibes and the bitterness, a lot of Dingles and North End fans know and acknowledge that these owners are shit and have ruined our club. I know from discussing with them. I have seen it on their forums too. Fans of both clubs, once they have had their laugh for the day, acknowledge how Venky's have ruined us and how we are right to be angry. It's not all of them expressing that view, no. Bitterness is the order of the day for most and I wouldn't expect anything else from them. However, there are fans of theirs who see that Venky's have taken a Premier League club and reduced it to a shell and a laughing stock. They are laughing about O'Brien and McGuire, but at the same time saying that Rovers fans are being taken for mugs by the owners. I saw Dingles the other day discussing about how they would have booted Venky's out long ago, whilst having a pop at passive Rovers fans. What the heck does all of the above say about the "no problem with the ownership, be grateful, without Venky's the club would be finished" crew? When rivals can see the truth and they can't? Forget us lot on brfcs. Rivals, who hate Rovers are seeing the truth but these lot can't or refuse to acknowledge it. There's only one reason Dingles say "long live Venky's" and display Indian flags at Ewood. It is the same reason that almost every football fan in the country says "long live the Glazers". -

Is the TV Studio in the far corner of the Jack Walker lower towards the Darwen End, still used by Sky, BBC etc when it comes to showing Rovers games? If so, I think that may be the best place to direct any banners towards. In that corner. Live on BBC, banners held up facing the pundits in the studio, before kick off or at half time when the pundits are on air. Message put across before a large TV audience. Big Al is likely to be in the studio too and may be asked for his views on the club/owners by Lineker or whoever is hosting. Ideally, we could do with Sutton being in the studio that evening as he won't hold back, but he seems to be more on radio duty. -

I'm glad he has done that. The omission of Broughton is quite important and suggests he isn't to blame. I have given Broughton stick due to his philosophy on the game, his suitability as a DOF, imo, and his eye for a player. I still have those concerns. However, I do believe that he has been acting in good faith and trying to meet the 'project', only for the clueless above him to kibosh things that he had lined up. The O'Brien saga wasn't his fault and if anything has gone similarly wrong with McGuire it's probably the same people to blame. As JDT's comments suggest. When JDT and GB were talking about the 'project' early doors and talking about being a "sustainable Premier League club", I think they genuinely meant it and were working towards that. Both have been sold a pup by charlatans. -

No creativity in the team without Adam Wharton. No goals without Szmodics, who went off injured today. If that's in any way a lengthy period of time out for him, it's over, imo. Not to have a go at him, but Tronstad looked no different to Danny Guthrie or Corry Evans out there today, to me. He is the one they are looking to, to make something happen, he's getting the most time on the ball, but it's not his game to be the creative link! Everything is pointing towards relegation. The only way it doesn't happen is if QPR have a stinking run from now until the end of the season. The only way this club ever recovers is by removing the poison. Venky's out. Waggott out. Silvester out. Lowe out. Anybody who is connected to the agency, out! JDT needs to walk. No manager can succeed here under this shitbag environment.
-
Szmodics going off injured. He has signalled to the bench. Everything that could go wrong, is going wrong.
-
He doesn't. Not one bit. But the cursed words came out of his mouth.
-
We're done and it is exactly what the hierarchy deserves. That bastard Waggott coming out with "avoiding relegation". Here's your relegation. Slimy bastard.
-
We've got away with one there. QPR forward racing through on goal. Heavy touch from him though, gathered by Pears. That should be 1-0 to them.
-
A drab first half. We need to do something about the midfield for the second half. The options aren't all that, but Moran has to come off. I would bring Ayari on. From what I saw against Wrexham he looked a tidy enough passer and might offer something different to this crap that has been served up so far.
-
Adam Wharton is a big loss. We're really missing him. So much of our play used to go through him. There is just nothing in our midfield here. Tronstad getting the ball, going mostly sideways. He isn't in the side to be the creative link though, so it's not on him. The 'Irish Foden'? Please. The guy who coined that phrase was having a laugh. Either that or a relative of his.

I can understand what Groundhog is saying to some extent about him losing respect for the manager, in that it could be seen as a "shitty" thing for JDT to walk away now and 'leave the lads in the lurch', so to speak. I respect the opinion, even though I disagree. I'm looking at it completely the opposite way though and not necessarily from a team point of view. JDT will always have my respect because he tried to raise the standards of this football club. An ambitious man, a winner, who was not given the tools to get Rovers back to where we belong. He wanted promotion, while the CEO was telling him it's alright just to avoid the drop. JDT is the only manager under this regime, imo, who had real ambition for the club, had genuine respect for the fans and is on our wavelength in terms of how many of us view the club. He has batted for the fans time and again and shares our frustration. We want Rovers to win, JDT wants Rovers to win, but the clowns above him are not arsed. 'Win' does not mean individual games of football. It's more than that. The hierarchy he is working under has treated us like a tinpot outfit for years on end. Lowering the standards every year, lowering the expectation every year, to such a pitiful state, that random kids on loan are now being celebrated as good business. Anybody who questions any of this is a "hater" and "not a real fan" according to the wider support. This is the state that a top 10 Premier League club and it's fanbase has been reduced to by these dickhead owners and their stream of yes men. JDT has seen through them, like a lot of us, which is why I will always respect the man. Him walking away now only increases that respect for me. This shell today is not Blackburn Rovers. It is not the Rovers that JDT knows from his playing days and beyond. It is not the Rovers that many of us know. I do not see people like Waggott, Silvester, and the rest above them as being Rovers. Never! They work for the club, yeah, but that's where it ends. I think this is where most of us differ with the "just back the club" crew. The latter think that criticising the above named is an attack on the club and makes us "dingles" or "haters" or whatever. They can think what they like, but those people are not Rovers people. What have they done to warrant our respect and support? What are they doing to push the club on? Look at what JDT's call for ambition has been met with. Cutback after cutback, woefully inadequate transfer windows, an Indian High Court case against the owners, and finally his star midfielder being swiftly moved on to pay the bills! There can be no blame on JDT for walking. He's not the best manager in the world, that's not what I'm saying. He has had certain howlers which are hard to forget such as the Burnley, Preston, Rotherham and a few other embarrassing defeats. His in game management is questionable at times, but he is a real one. That's why I will be gutted when he does go. One of very few real ones, in 13 years of fakes.- 9564 replies

I suspect JDT is feeling similar to how some of us on here are feeling and could be about to let loose. The charlatans know that it isn't a wise move to have him before a mic today. We're apparently 'negative' for complaining and highlighting this shit show. I would love to see what these people have to say when their own manager echoes the same sentiments. Is JDT a wannabe protester too? I personally want him to walk and expose the charade. Him walking would be enough of a message in itself. It would also come as a dose of reality for those who are saying things like "credit to the club, JDT can't complain, they've given him the players he wanted", this morning.- 9564 replies

SuperBrfc replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeah, that is exactly what it looks and feels like. History appears to be repeating itself. We are currently at the Lambert stage, where a manager who arrived here under the illusion that the end goal was to go up and that he would be backed with funds from player sales, has realised he has been sold a dud. It didn't take Lambert long to work that out after the money from the sales of Rhodes and others disappeared and he had to make do with frees and loans. Ditto JDT and the situation now. It seems very unlikely that JDT will be here beyond the summer. The squad is going to need massively rebuilding (again) but there is no appetite or money for that from the top. Kicking the can down the road over and over is more their thing. "We will lease players". The Wharton money? "Scott is still here, so we are confused by your question". Promotion won't be on the agenda either (when has it ever?) as is obvious from Swag's aim being to avoid relegation, so is JDT sticking around for more of this? I doubt it. Got to hope that the 'next Coyle' doesn't arrive. An agency friendly desperado coming in, who can't believe he is here, would likely replicate what Coyle did and send us down. I know some may argue that the DOF being here should prevent this, and they could be right, but there have already been indications of GB lining up deals in good faith only for something to happen above him leading to a change in plan. I've often shared the opinion that the shortlist for our next manager will be telling and who we actually appoint, possibly even more so.
