  1. Not sure how we haven’t scored in these last 5 minutes. Szmodics pass blocked to Leonard, Carter block on the line and Szmodics weak chance after Leonard’s pass then almost an OG on Leonard’s final cross
  2. Shocking from all 3 CBs. Hill with a poor header, Carter letting the cross in far too easily and Wharton losing the man in the middle. Dreadful defending
  3. Team pretty much picks itself with the injuries / suspensions: Leo Brittain Carter Hill Pickering Tronstad Wharton Szmodics Moran Leonard Sigurdsson The only other option would be Garrett in midfield in place of Siggy/Leonard with Szmodics in the front 3
  4. Yeah correct, £10 I believe then too. Jack Walker and lower BBE were sold out (think it was just under 19k but there were barely any Wigan fans there). It was also unfortunately the night Bradley Dacks premier league dreams ended. 0-0 draw though for all those floating fans! I’d expect us to beat 20k here though, in better form, playing better football, community behind it, Saturday 3pm and I’d expect Watford to bring more than / as many as Wigan (even though Watford don’t particular take many themselves). If we were playing Leeds / Sunderland we’d be getting 25k+
  5. I feel this match will say a lot about our season. Defeat (and arguably a draw) would feel like “same old Rovers” and just isn’t something a team with Top 6 aspirations end up with. Victory means the decent form continues, and has the potential to push us into the playoff places if Hull fail to beat Watford.
  6. How much did United pay for Onana? I honestly can’t believe how many howlers he’s got in him. Every other game there is a shocker. No idea how he is a professional, doesn’t even look good with ball at feet (which allegedly he is meant to be).
  7. Pickering has been solid, all their danger has come down their left, troubling our right backs.
  8. If we can hold on here and go to bottom of the league in 7th place it’ll be a huge confidence boost!
  9. Wharton’s pass taking all the comms by surprise, even Hyam. Superb finish by Sammie. New contract, same Sammie
  10. A lot of talk about Birmingham should have had a sending off but I’d argue Travis has been more blatant in deserving 2 yellows. He got very lucky in the 2nd minute.
  11. Cannot understand why we have Brittain playing left wing whilst Travis is playing right back.
  12. Well done to everyone involved in targeting the correct match! I’ll be back in the UK for Christmas so will be there with a few others. Hopefully we’re in the top 6 by that point and it’ll be a real party atmosphere.
  13. Not seen any of the match but always great to win in a scrappy match (which it sounds like), and do so comfortably in the end. Positive GD now, no reason we shouldn’t go into that Leeds match in the playoff positions with Birmingham and Sheffield Wednesday up next. PNE crumbling in stoppage time. 5th and 6th are well up for grabs!! COYB
  14. Yep it's crazy. Imagine if you struggled for mid-week matches (luckily for fans there is only 1 home one in the new year), and / or had a holiday planned / went away to see family maybe at Easter. That's all it takes for it to no longer be worthwhile, considering there is no other benefit to holding the half season ticket (away tickets prio will be no issue) No derbys, no rivals, the highlight is probably an Easter home match vs Ipswich, and the half ST is still a similar price to a full ST at PNE / Bolton / Huddersfield
  15. £209 for a half season ticket - what was the price of the FULL season ticket at Bolton, PNE, Huddersfield etc. again? The operation down there is so useless, what’s even the point of selling them. (obviously hands are almost tied because of what they charged fans at the start of season) £209 for 11 games, no derby matches ie PNE, not even Leeds / Leicester / Boro which would be the expected expensive tickets and better sides Thats £19 a ticket, you’d have to go to at least 9 of the 11 for it to actually pay for itself. Rotherham, Huddersfield, QPR, Stoke, Norwich, Millwall, Plymouth, Ipswich, Southampton, Wednesday, Coventry. Max 3 more Cat A games he could squeeze out of them (Ipswich, Wednesday, Cov)
  16. Yeah - certainly missed Gallagher, Hedges, JRC etc. it shows when we’re relying on Markanday to come on and change games!
  17. Unfortunately like so many games this season. There must be an underlying factor (disclaimer it’s because we’re soft as shite and have no leaders playing behind Szmodics)
  18. Textbook Blackburn Rovers sadly. Soft as shite
  19. Sigurdsson absolutely pathetic. Needs hooking
  20. “Is it going to be one of those nights for Preston?” - from the commentator after PNE hit the post with their 1st shot 2nd half We've hit the bar twice and battered them you clown
  21. Fans are sounding amazing! Go on lads and lasses!
  22. Bloody class from Moran on the assist, just like Norwich. What was I on about earlier 😂
  23. As big a load of nonsense as you’ll ever see. 20% chance still on the exchange with plenty there to stake
  24. Moran’s 1st touch is horrendously bad. His 2nd touch is often a tackle.
