  1. We scored 4 plenty of times under Mowbray last year with the same attacking line up. 4-0 Peterborough, 4-0 Birmingham, 4-1 PNE, 5-1 Cardiff. Diaz, Gallagher, Dolan (last nights 3) featured in those matches, with the odd bit of Khadra and Buckley as false 9. Either way, I agree to the extent that we need a number 9 - there is no denying that - just not sure those guys are number 9s (appreciate you said forwards)
  2. Maybe the Hyam scorpion kick? Though it was off an Ayala header. Scott Wharton seems to be the only one who is an attacking threat on crosses - agree though, every time we get a corner I am expecting nothing to come of it
  3. Nobody is talking about divine right, it’s excuses and the lines we’re being fed and it’s reflection on the table (which we’ll see in a months time) The manager shouldn’t be saying “we have no right to be up here, we have no budget” when we’re below Luton and Millwall and around the same mark as PNE, Coventry and Sunderland. Also not sure who you mean regarding Sunderland’s forward, if it’s Stewart he’s only played 13 times all season. They’ve basically had a midfielder upfront all year (like Mowbray did here)
  4. Because of the exact reason I quoted? Not sure where you don’t understand. From this morning, every team bar Preston gained on us (of which consequence Millwall pulled away instead) I could also add we were 1/1 (50%) chance of top 6 this morning but now we’re 15/8 (35%) chance of top 6
  5. We most certainly are not. Same position in the league but now 5 teams are within 3 points of us. We could literally be 11th with defeat to Coventry.
  6. Wow - I’m not a fan at all of the two of them together, but that’s even surprised me how low it is.
  7. Let’s hope he knows why, as it took until 7 mins from the end for him to realise tonight.
  8. It’s not that he was a problem. It’s just he isn’t needed in a game like that where it’s being played in the opposition half. We didn’t need himself and Travis CM together for 80 minutes in that match. Highlighted by the fact he barely touched the ball all 2nd half.
  9. Coventry away last year and the last minute goal after Dack got us back in it was when I realised the playoffs were over. Fearing that Wednesday night ends with the same conclusion. No Gallagher. No Morton. Debatable on Diaz. Start Wharton.
  10. Chalk and Cheese to Monday (in terms of creativity - appreciate the points are the same) and there is a common denominator in the one change made.
  11. Big chance? We had 1 and it fell to Dolan. Back to creating absolutely nothing as we had the 2 crabs in midfield who are incapable of creativity and a striker who has no movement, no football brain and no strikers instinct.
  12. How has come out of that Huddersfield game and thought, I know, I’ll stick Eeyore back up front, that’s what we were missing.
  13. What was that, 2 minutes of actual added time? All on your head Jon. Pathetic
  14. 84 minutes - it hits home. There we go
  15. Morton touched the ball once all half for a long ball to their centre backs head. Mental that we still have him and Trav in the middle 75 mins into this game at 0-0
  16. He’s got Dolan playing in a central, dropping deep, sort of creative position whilst Gallagher is hugging the right touch line. What the hell am I watching?
  17. Lee Hendrie (I think it’s him) on commentary only has half a brain and even he’s scratching his head at no Rovers change.
  18. It’s embarrassing. I can’t believe he’s allowed this to go on for 15 minutes
  19. I’d wager 75 mins before he makes a change. So frustrating.
  20. Pathetic from Diaz. Hook him as well
  21. Wharton and Thomas on for Gallagher and one of the midfield two please. Or even hook Diaz if we go back to 433.
  22. I think I’ve counted 6 balls across the box now with Gally absolutely nowhere near any of them. No instinct at all
  23. I thought Noel Hunt was still playing for them at right back there
  24. They’re giving us loads of space out wide. Thomas and JRC on that side would have a field day
  25. Just seen we’ve been backed in from 1/1 to 4/6. Decent move, don’t remember us being as short as that for a long time. Hull must have a lot of injuries for a price move like that
