  1. No it doesn’t. You’re just using one run from his managerial career to suit your argument. Far too small of a sample size.
  2. Quite surprising that I’m having to write this, particularly as I’m always keen to let everyone have their own views and own mind. But saying Mowbray is the most damaging manager the club has ever had, I just don’t understand that mindset. Unless of course, people have erased the Steve Kean period from their memory, which I can completely understand, as it was the worst I can ever remember it being, since following us.
  3. Playing players out of position is quite common, yes. But playing a defensive midfielder that hasn’t crossed the halfway line in about 6 months as a striker was quite incredible, even by Mowbray’s standards.
  4. If you lose to a team managed by Paul Ince, you don’t even deserve to be in the shake up. Still not over that tbh….
  5. Paul Ince just beat us at football. Christ.
  6. I can’t agree with this strongly enough. Can people please stop hinting that they know something, using that to ridicule people’s views and then not elaborating. Then it just winds people up and goes on and on. The mods have said this more than enough times already, but it evidently bears repeating. Just either put up or shut up.
  7. To be fair though, even if that is a wild decision, Weimann has a sprint in him at least. Must be six months since Bradley Johnson crossed the half way line….
  8. To clarify, by players, I meant those he was playing with at that time I.E Gillespie and Ferdinand.
  9. If Shearer had or has an ego, it’s probably justified. He was better than all those players mentioned and he’s the all time PL scorer.
  10. Hedges who he had been chasing for over a year that isn’t even a striker?
  11. Is it the fickleness of our supporters? Or is it being angry at the team playing terribly and voicing this opinion? There are some weird folk knocking about who aren’t happy unless they’re criticising our fans. I’ve never known anything like it.
  12. Strange post match interview, that one. Almost sounded embittered that we had scored from open play, but then says we have to find a way to win. (I very much agree with the latter, but it seems completely contradictory).
  13. Many problems with how the team was set up in the first half by the sounds of things, but just glad we got the win in the end! Let’s just hope we learn from our mistakes next time round and play our players to their strengths!
  14. By this, do you mean he’s as bad as Jason Lowe? I’m confused. I never saw Lowe smash into tackles like Travis does. The two are like night and day in the way they play.
  15. Because it’s Burnley and they’re our local rivals would be my guess.
  16. He’s already tried that with Gallagher, don’t give him any ideas….
  17. Having to hide a few posts already because of baiting. Any more and there won’t just be hidden posts, but sin bin time. Don’t say you weren’t warned!
  18. Everyone out after that. Absolute disgrace. Couldn’t finish their tea. Shithouses.
  19. We are never going to score again, are we?
  20. That push off the pitch that wasn’t given, is quite easily one of the worst refereeing decisions, I’ve ever seen in my life. Embarrassing doesn’t even cover it.
  21. Just parked up and on my walk to the ground saw someone in a Liverpool shirt washing his car. I hope a pigeon decides it’s time for a number 2, right after he finishes and begins to admire his handy work….
  22. It’s the new Mr Brightside. Was alright when it came out back in the day, but it’s been absolutely done to death! (Before anyone appoints themselves as Captain Obvious, I’m well aware Sweet Caroline came out long before it!!)
  23. You’ll tell us anything….
  24. It’s only a bit of humour, don’t take it so hard.
