What’s your view now? The season is crumbling to a mere whimper -

3rd defeat in the spin out of the top 6 and any hope of a top6 finish diminished -
You can’t knock them no matter how much you dislike them so congratulations to them the best team in this league . They will struggle and will now rebuild but will still drop down after next season.

It’s not just on the shoulders of Morton the midfield was overrun every time they came forward and YET not a change was made. To wait until the 88th minute for the opposition keeper to make a save makes a mockery of what we are trying to achieve it really was an awful game to watch apart from Sammy who ran his legs off and was my motm. Rovers were frightened of any forward momentum and Carter was shockingly poor constantly doing a Lowe and passing backwards - I’ve had a chance to evaluate the game as I drove home and nothing changes my mind about the blame being with JDT - he knew Thomas can’t play on Monday so why not play him today ? We needed speed so why wait until it’s too late to put TD on? We saw Gally having a typically shit game so why keep him on? All in all a huge let down🤬🤬

Premier League 22-23

A number of reasons why. A shed full of cash including player sales, parachute payments and crowds of 30k each game. A real bunch of fabulous young players who will walk the Championship such as Armstrong A, Tella as two very good examples. An academy that continues to excel (much like ours). Neither of the teams you mention above have such a set of circumstances and indeed, I am not sure many clubs who have been relegated in recent years would compare either. -

Bournemouth aside, who will be raped and pillaged player wise when they drop, the two promotion slots for next season are already taken by the two big clubs who drop down. So its a straight fight for the play offs 2023/24 -
Easter is a religious festival and was synonymous with the church influence on society and goes back eons and so on. In todays world, the church, these days/times, has little influence on society and as such Easter is more or less just a normal period in time where things carry on although we still see lessened shopping hours and some curtailing of licencing hours. Maybe the member who is "angry" at his work for making him/them/she/they work on this weekend should have a look at the work contract in place to see if there is any scope for change/challenge. After all, in todays society someone somewhere will find fault/issues and will find a way to challenge the ruling under religious grounds/discrimination circumstances!

I disagree with a few views on him, he is and will be a quality player. Yes he has made mistakes but so have many Rovers players this season. He has an eye for a killer pass much like Buckley does but less is the bite in the tackle. He is fitter than either Wharton or Garrett ,more mobile and quicker. For those who still think there is an appearance clause, there isn’t nor us there ever with a Liverpool/Rovers loan.

If you waste as many opportunities as we did then you deserve nothing but a defeat incredible how we have lost this game -
Technically true but blinkered ? Its reality where football players are concerned
-
Sadly and because of some half witted fuktards it would have been offset against £100k of damage again!
-
So its nothing to do with the player himself? If the player doesn't want to move he wont. If there is no offer for the player from another club, he stays. If he wants to run his contract down he can and the club can do fuck all about it! Nothing to do with owners/manager/CEO or agents, its the players choice and his alone.

It cracks me up for little ol bumley, they actually believe the biff who has said he has got tickets for the home end!

With the positive rhetoric at Ewood/Brockhall this week a win puts a top hat on a good week for Blackburn Rovers. -

I disagree, the ball was swerving away from him and was at pace and with these footballs he didn't have a chance in fact he did well to get a glove on it. We can agree to disagree on that! -

you are kidding right? A speculative shot at pace and with swerve? No keeper had a chance for it let alone TK. Prior to that he had kept us in the game with 2 one on one saves. I read your posts and really wonder at times why you are not employed in the higher echelons of the football world instead of lounging and posting n message boards like this😀. He doenst deserve to be dropped he is there on merit -

I cannot believe you actually wrote this about Pears, the lad has been nothing short of magnificent in the sticks whilst TK has been out injured. He had a horrific set of games previously and I never thought he would ever recover after his abortion of a game at Wigan in the cup. However, and fair play to both him and the coaches, the lad has come on leaps and bounds and has shown exactly the ability that Mowbray and co saw in him. So, if you ask me this shows two things, he is a bloody good keeper and wasn't a signing as a family member and that also, despite some on here saying otherwise, Benson and co actually know what they are doing with goalkeepers!
