On the contrary it’s a far more bigger game for dingle fc due to the current circs and you cannot for a single minute that fans from their club will try every trick in the book to get a ticket so in my view it’s a sensible method to employ and kudos to the staff who told them to do one with adequate rationale behind the decision
-
Because I lived around the corner and am close to the inner circle of all things Wigan - from the DW side that is👍

Has it occurred to you 6 yrs is a long time and that the person in question may not have purchased a ticket in a regular basis hence the questioning as to why they want to buy a ticket for Burnley? The ticket sales of away fans won’t cover the cost of repairing the vandalised Darwen End!
-
And if they didn’t imagine the real issues of people getting seriously hurt/maimed or even killed because no checks were made during ticket sales! By doing this they are protecting themselves, the club and supporters and preventing serious public order which we do not want to see at Ewood as it is Rovers who would be punished NoT Burnley. It’s common sense if you ask me
-
Just how do you justify this suggestion? The police can have absolutely not a shred of influence on advertising a match or lack of!

Nyambe did not get a pay rise NOR a signing on fee as his deal was 12 months without any clauses!

I was told sales have gone past the 2k mark the other day ~ also that even if 4500 are sold pne unlikely to give us another 1000 to fill the away end -

Going to be a tough game - hull have nothing to play for and will play with no fear -
At times he frustrates because he appears to dawdle with the ball - can’t complain about his range of Tugayesque passes

But his job is to score and create - he did neither nor did he did anything to justify automatic selection - That’s my view after this Easter’s disaster -

BBD is a real conundrum he has been way below par for a good few games, faffs around with the ball, gives silly fouls away and cannot find the killer pass or shot - his mind is clearly elsewhere and for me he should be benched. Really chuffed for young Leonard and JRC had a really good effective game - I recall the last time he played at Huddersfield he was absolutely atrocious that game ! Morton was much better whilst I thought Dolan could have done so much more especially in the first half. We now move on to next Saturday and Hull at home - it may be a very pivotal game with everyone else having played earlier in the day ! I believe our hopes for a top 6 slot are over for this season there is too much to do and it looks like our neighbours will have the last nail in our seasons coffin🤬 -

What’s your view now? The season is crumbling to a mere whimper -

Simply pathetic across the pitch🤬 defence is a shambles midfield productivity is non existent and this is going to get embarrassing -

3rd defeat in the spin out of the top 6 and any hope of a top6 finish diminished -
You can’t knock them no matter how much you dislike them so congratulations to them the best team in this league . They will struggle and will now rebuild but will still drop down after next season.

It’s not just on the shoulders of Morton the midfield was overrun every time they came forward and YET not a change was made. To wait until the 88th minute for the opposition keeper to make a save makes a mockery of what we are trying to achieve it really was an awful game to watch apart from Sammy who ran his legs off and was my motm. Rovers were frightened of any forward momentum and Carter was shockingly poor constantly doing a Lowe and passing backwards - I’ve had a chance to evaluate the game as I drove home and nothing changes my mind about the blame being with JDT - he knew Thomas can’t play on Monday so why not play him today ? We needed speed so why wait until it’s too late to put TD on? We saw Gally having a typically shit game so why keep him on? All in all a huge let down🤬🤬

Premier League 22-23
1864roverite replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
A number of reasons why. A shed full of cash including player sales, parachute payments and crowds of 30k each game. A real bunch of fabulous young players who will walk the Championship such as Armstrong A, Tella as two very good examples. An academy that continues to excel (much like ours). Neither of the teams you mention above have such a set of circumstances and indeed, I am not sure many clubs who have been relegated in recent years would compare either. -

Bournemouth aside, who will be raped and pillaged player wise when they drop, the two promotion slots for next season are already taken by the two big clubs who drop down. So its a straight fight for the play offs 2023/24 -
Easter is a religious festival and was synonymous with the church influence on society and goes back eons and so on. In todays world, the church, these days/times, has little influence on society and as such Easter is more or less just a normal period in time where things carry on although we still see lessened shopping hours and some curtailing of licencing hours. Maybe the member who is "angry" at his work for making him/them/she/they work on this weekend should have a look at the work contract in place to see if there is any scope for change/challenge. After all, in todays society someone somewhere will find fault/issues and will find a way to challenge the ruling under religious grounds/discrimination circumstances!

I disagree with a few views on him, he is and will be a quality player. Yes he has made mistakes but so have many Rovers players this season. He has an eye for a killer pass much like Buckley does but less is the bite in the tackle. He is fitter than either Wharton or Garrett ,more mobile and quicker. For those who still think there is an appearance clause, there isn’t nor us there ever with a Liverpool/Rovers loan.
