  1. A winning mentality that, IMO, Mowbray simply does not have. A winning mentality is contagious and all embracing - no one wants to let the side down and woe betide anyone who does.
  2. IMO, our coaching staff are 4th rate and significantly less than average. I very, very much doubt any other Championship club would employ Venus, Lowe and Benson in the same capacity as what they are at Ewood.
  3. “We were in League One only two-and-a-half years ago and we’re trying to build and grow". Mowbray post match in yesterday's LT. So feckin what !?!? As far as I'm aware, Mowbray has not been forced to sell any player during his tenure and, relatively, has had untold riches (what most other Championship managers could only dream of) to build a squad capable of getting us promotion to the PL. After four years, Mowbray, has, IMO, miserably failed. The bottom line is we have failed to beat a top half team this season (a damning statistic) and promotion is just a dream. Places 3 to 6 mean zilch unless you win the play offs. It's more than time to move on.
  4. “We’re on a journey to get better. We have an ambition to try and push on and be around the top six in this division and after 46 games we’ll see whether we’re good enough. “We were in League One only two-and-a-half years ago and we’re trying to build and grow". I just wish Mowbray would feck off. Sick and tired of what, IMO, is just bullsh1t, followed by more bullsh1t. Sadly, our owners and happy clappers seem to buy it.
  5. Think we would be relegated by Christmas. It would be carnage. Think Mowbray would be saying we need to give these lads who got us promoted a chance (as he did when we came up from League 1).
  6. Sorry but don't think the lad has it and never will have. If some think PL clubs sniffing at £10million then they must be as p1ssed as I will be at midnight tonight.
  7. Rotherham 2 up against Bristol city. Hate to think who Mowbray will think we are playing next!
  8. Over the border into Yorkshire this lunchtime and enjoyed a bite and a pint or two as pubs open. Think I'll head back!
  9. We could have Messi dropped in on us but I still think Mowbray would mismanage. Little will change until we have a new manager.l
  10. Need Dolan and or Chapman on. We need players who frighten defenders.
  11. To a degree you make your own luck! We got lucky three times against Millwall, what more do you want!?
  12. Depressingly familiar. The opposition know our weaknesses and set out to exploit. IMO, we would be better off with Mulgrew at left back than Douglas!
  13. A new manager and back room staff. Mowbray appointed what, IMO, is a shower of sh1t.
  14. Cowley - didn't work out at Huddersfield though you could argue that given 10 months was hardly a fair crack of the whip. I did not suggest we appoint Cowley but mentioned him as a 'bright young thing'. As for Mowbray - been here nearly four years now and we've yet to beat a top half team this season so our quest for promotion aint looking great. IMO, if Mowbray sees out his contract we will be no nearer the PL and it will have been five and a half wasted years for the club and its supporters whilst I think Mowbray will be able to happily and comfortably retire to his beloved Teeside, living a life of luxury, and oodles of lemon drizzle cake. My early season optimism about making a serious promotion bid is rapidly draining away. I think we have the players but sadly not the management or coaching team.
  15. This is where I have to disagree with you. Mowbray signs players, sells players and selects a starting eleven from his squad. It is HIS SELECTIONS who take the wrong options, under hit the passes and take on shots when others who are better placed. You simply don't sign or select players with such traits.
  16. Norwich, like us, have injury problems, however, even based on who was available last night, we should have more than enough in our locker to see them off. I'd go: Kaminski / Nyambe Williams, Ayala, Bell / Rothwell, Davenport, Holtby / Elliott, Armstrong, Dolan That line up has goals in it and I can see us running out winners by the odd goal in 5 or even 7. Kaminski is a huge improvement on Walton but I think he will cost us soon unless he tempers his outfield antics. I think Lenihan is a liability who is regressing - not that I'm overly impressed with Ayala. IMO, Douglas is washed-up and weak defensively and even his set plays (for which is is famed) have been poor - says something when Bell would be preferred. Think Johnson will be on his arse now and we need fresh legs in midfield - time to see if Davenport has what it takes. In this league, Elliott, Armstrong and Dolan should terrorise most defences - Gallagher SHOULD NOT be played out wide.
  17. IMO, Mowbray just doesn't get the best from what we have and hasn't got that steely winning mentality. Listening to the interviews last night from Holden and Mowbray, Holden was so upbeat and positive - their bottom line objective is top 2 whilst, IMO, Mowbray's objective is to challenge for top 6. Injuries don't wash - that was a very strong starting 11 last night. Sadly, IMO, Mowbray did not set us up right and his substitutions were baffling to me. Sick of feckin saying it - we need a young, hungry and innovative manager who, I am pretty certain, would get a far better tune out of the payers we have at Rovers.
  18. Never mind top 6, have we beat a top half side this season? Dreadfully disappointing. Couldn't see City scoring. Sloppy defending! Douglas the most overrated left back in our history!
  19. Strong team that. Can't see us failing to win. Simply no excuses given City's bigger injury problems.
  20. Some you get, some you don't. How Millwall will feel aggrieved after having had 3 excellent penalty shouts turned down. Luck tends to balance out over the course of a season.
  21. Disagree. The next appeal may be more legitimate and the perception might be 'here we go again, Rovers playing the system' and we end up stuffed. I would fight good and proper for 'justice' but, IMO, the Lenihan appeal stinks and will not have enhanced our stock with the powers that be.
  22. If not a straight red then a 2nd yellow with same consequence. Should have taken it on the chin instead, IMO, of trying to riddle out of it. What goes around comes around!
