  1. Past hour
  2. Historically a high scoring and entertaining match up at Portman Road 4-3, 2-2, 3-2 the last three. Difficult to see us even laying a glove on them tomorrow though, nevermind taking part in a goal fest 😵 Their home record is superb apart from a random 3 nil loss to Charlton thrown in there. I'm surprised bookies have them at 1/2, we've got no chance I'm afraid. Keep it respectable is about all we can hope for... As an aside wtf happened to our set pieces, thought we'd turned a corner after the Preston game and the new set piece coach was making a mark, dire since then 🤔
  3. the big fee quote seems to have originated in Norways press Bodo Glimt paid about €3M for him 6 months ago, (although its likely that fee is also after add ons etc). so a fee that "could reach" €3.5M means they can claim a victory
  4. Strange that the club are throwing out a big fee in the media for an incoming transfer when we generally hear it's undisclosed for outgoing ones. Have a feeling there's a fair bit of embellishment going on here to suggest ambition and to quell the unrest ahead of the boycott. On the flip side it's a blessed relief to see an attacking player through the door, just hope he's decent.
  5. It was said a little tongue in cheek and i expect him to sign but there is always that niggle in my head when it comes to modern day Rovers
  6. Dønnum or Cleary + Hardie on loan would be pretty good business.
  7. As a Dane himself, Neo should know better 😉
  8. Baradji isn't about his quality, it's all about proving his fitness. Don't see the rush in that one myself, the deal is in place so no worries. TGH I hope we find better. Decent squad player on a free, but shouldn't be a starter. I hope we can offer Tronstad a new deal, he's vital to this team and should be for another two or three seasons.
  9. I imagine the next signing, if there is one will be a young prem loan.
  10. Indeed, although in previous cases, this has resulted in the initial loans not completing as the EFL/FIFA/etc have stopped them from happening after checking the paperwork As his loan completed and he has played for us (unlike O'Brien, Brierley, McGuire), it is safe to assume everything is in order Not that I have any faith in Rovers not being inept, just that someone has checked their homework
  11. If the paperwork was wrong we’d already know because the EFL would’ve rejected it in the summer.
  12. There's an MJ that plays for LA Galaxy too
  13. Perhaps AaB were due some instalments when Glimt face City in the CL, who knows. Could be a total package of €3.5m, but I can't see us pay too much at first. Everyone's waiting for Elliott to wake up and follow up on the Dønnum news. That transfer doesn't make too much sense at the moment, considering there's a world cup coming up and he's playing regularly (and well) for Toulouse.
  14. Yea I'd like to see Moussa develop here I think there's alot more to see from him. Having the right players around could really spark things for him
  15. Rovers are known for their scrupulous, impeccable handling of paperwork regarding players that are coming in through the door... 😁
  16. He does not have a choice. he, his agent, & both clubs already signed the contract which became legally binding when his loan with us started The only party who can now back out is Rovers, by not activating the purchase option. Which if it is the rumoured £1.5M (ish), they would be mad to not trigger it Same applies to TGH, although in his case, the club would be mad to trigger the option
  17. Be suprised if he now chooses tobsign for us permeability whilst we trying to avoid relegation
  18. It is plausible both were fed dud information to possibly reel in a mole? If not then it’s extremely poor journalism
  19. I suppose it is possible (albeit unlikely) that both were correct? I miss lasts nights fever dream already
  20. Who'd of thought it. Nixon was right and our ever trusted journo is wrong, even though in his words he "doesn't post unless he's 100% confident"
  21. Today
  22. Now activate the Baradji clause to sign him on a permanent deal. He's done well enough!
