  3. By all accounts our recruitment team have had another busy in the office !🤣🤣
  4. Just another way of putting 2 fingers up to the Rovers fans !
  5. Desperate to order one but can’t afford til December as we’re a one-income family atmo :’(
  6. Are we trusting me to have got everything right? Sounds dangerous 😁😁
  7. The admins should pin that as "the story so" far at the top of this thread 😉
  8. You’re welcome, I’m glad it made sense because as I wrote it I wasn’t sure it was going to! 😁
  9. Just a quick addition, the Venkys were given the necessary permissions under the old legislation on 6/4/2022 (for £23 million) and 26/5/2022 (for £14 million). The new legislation came into force on 22/8/2022. That’s 3/4 months when the above sums could have been sent without hindrance.
  10. Thankyou mate genuinely appreciate that, makes alot more sense now. (Or not, in our case🤣 ) Thanks
  11. further proof to me that we`re f****d and will likely be going down
  12. The original court case was instigated by the Venkys as a result of the restrictions placed on them because of the Directorate of Enforcement investigation. Under the current legislation, this investigation means they need a No Objection Certificate from the Directorate before they can send monies overseas. The Venkys believe, in respect to the sum covered in the original writ, that the No Objection Certificate the State Bank of India had issued was sufficient (as this is what was required under the old legislation). Their bank disagreed and insisted on the certificate from the Directorate who then refused to issue one - hence the court case which (unbelievably some would say) is still yet to be heard. In terms of this case, I think the best ( but unlikely) result for us (the fans) is the judge removing all restrictions as this removes any excuses the Venkys have regarding them no longer funding us sufficiently. In terms of the investigation, if they’re found guilty they will be fined a sum which is probably small change to them. It’s been mentioned many times before that their reputation (ha!) is very important to them so I think our best hope is they’re found guilty and the press ‘steps up’ and causes them plenty of bad publicity. Whether this would be sufficient for them to think enough is enough - I sadly doubt it.
  13. It’s a difficult one there’s clearly ndas in play for the managers who have moved on - they won’t break those for obvious reasons as for players if the club haven’t did anything ‘wrong’ it’s defamation. Whilst most rovers would agree how the running of our club is pretty much shambolic they haven’t done anything ‘wrong’ cost cutting whilst we hate it and it’s obvious it’s their club they can choose to do that lack of contract offers or reasonable offers again they can choose to do that hiring of staff not qualified for the role again their club their choice even if they brought to light the harsh treatment of valued staff etc like Radcliffe did at United the scrutiny lasts about 2/3 days then forgot about it’s so hard
  14. Today
  15. Congratulations is fine all ‘football friends’ do it regardless of circumstances
  16. I don't see it as an attack on the club, more so the clubs hierarchy Personally I would prefer it if every player who left was more vocal about the shambles of a club we have become, draw some national attention to it, it might force the media, EFL & FA to look at things properly
  17. Yes. Did they congratulate him turning down a new contract though or did they congratulate him on his move with its subsequent wage bump?
  18. It's got EVERYTHING to do with being entitled when it comes to "professional" footballers and their agents.
  19. I'll be be honest I've lost track of this court case (don't fully know how it all works etc. What's the outcome we're hoping for and what can the courts do to them that edge then closer to leaving?
  20. You mean like Dolan, Britain and Tronstad all congratulating Batth turning down a new contract here and announcing he'd signed for Derby.
  21. The only thing I think it is telling about is that Tom Bloxham is very bitter about not making it here and being released. If it came from someone like Sammie Szmodics, Dolan, Baath etc then it would be very telling as you say.
  22. It also got picked up and shared by one of the national football social media groups on Facebook yesterday, which is possibly why Rovers only commented yesterday.
  23. Both can be true I find it hard to accept Tom Bloxham is bitter towards rovers beyond anything other than his own failings produced little to none at youth level over a number of years failed at Harrogate and is yet to be picked up by any club in the football pyramid there’s a lot of obvious failings at the club but I don’t take his comment as telling, if it came from someone with relative success like say gamble who commented above I’d probably read more into it
  24. Seems it was the same last time away at Hull. Such a tinpot way to operate in 2025.
  25. The club is a mess mate nothing to do with being entitled
  26. Congrats Tom you also ‘made it out’ Must be grand plying your trade at the famous ‘without club’
