  1. Past hour
  2. Ok I'll take the bait. Am I not allowed to say Gueye should've done better there? No agenda at all. My criticism is that he should've been able to keep himself onside, and then he should've been able to put it in the net. I think it was poor play and he should've done better. Do you disagree?
  3. Yes, Cantwell way above the level of every other player on the pitch. Great to see Tronstad back to his usual self too. Having watched a chunk of Hull v Oxford last week, they were actually much better against us and cut out the mistakes and amount of ball give aways - seriously! We were in control from the kick off. Hull had a good two minutes when Toth made three decent saves- one to prevent an og - but otherwise that was a completely dominant Rovers performance. We were relatively clinical in front of goal and as others have said, a 5 goal scoreline wouldn't have flattered us. Liked Tavaeres and Aliboisu while Montgomery and Hentiksson fitted in well when they came on. Gueye needs the offside rule explaining to him because his running was stupid. As for the ref- he was a total homer yet even managed to rankle the Hull fans into singing you are not fit to referee. Two moments not yet been mentioned by other posters- I didn't see it in real time but the camera replays spotted Rovers should have had a first half penalty and then in the 44th minute he twice got into such bad positions not watching the game flow he was hit by Rovers forward passes which were probable goal scoring opportunities. And yes Lungstrom was a red in the 46th minute but not given.
  4. I agree, Alebiosu is a real find.
  5. Your only criticism is with a guy that was thrown on for 5 minutes at the end? Bloody hell some of you have proper agendas.
  6. Didn't he support Birmingham.πŸ˜„
  7. Bullshit we should have had 3pts against Birmingham, and a penalty against West brom. It's been coming 3pts, we've played some decent football in parts without getting anything out of the previous 3 matches.
  8. Everything just clicked. Every player on that field complemented each other and worked hard to get the lead they did. Great passing and movement. Dismantled Hull to the point I nearly felt sorry for them(joke) if we can keep performing like our last two outings we should do alright this season. Another 2-3 signings off a good championship squad
  9. Only that he expects incomings and outgoings this week.
  10. Sensational result. Rovers were excellent today. Hull may have been poor but Rovers did a job on them. Reminded me a touch of Norwich away under JDT. Alebiosu appears to be a very good signing. Early days but looking like shrewd business. Hedges was very good. Need him to turn up and be like that more often than not. He deservedly gets stick on here, but today he was great looked up for it.....and arguably should've had a hat trick. Definitely prefer Kargbo on the right. Cantwell - class above everyone else on the pitch. Maybe the captains armband has reminded him how good he can be. Big player for Rovers this season. My only real criticism is with Gueye. Couldn't keep himself onside for that one chance, and didn't even put it in the net anyway. Poor. The need for a striker is clear as Ohashi will put in the work rate and deserved a goal....but he does get bullied and the first touch isn't great. Just a joy to watch overall.
  11. I think today's result, proves your thumbs down wrong.πŸ˜‰
  12. Cantwell looking a different class this season so far. No doubt they’ll be cashing in on that next summer so enjoy it while we can. Great to get three points. Keep the faith πŸ€žπŸ”΅βšͺ️
  13. Did Ismael have anything to say on transfers after the game ? Not seen anything mentioned so far
  14. And β€œRoversXtra” felt the need to share it
  15. Attention. But we can take it as a light lesson in not being gullible for more serious situations in our lives. πŸ™ƒ
  16. What makes anyone so sad they feel the need to do that?
  17. Inwas amazed how good Cantwell eas especially after early assualts designed tontake him out the game, it seems to be antactic used against him and Ohashi, foul em hard and early. He was sublime with some of his moves and ball control. I could not have been more wrong in how I thought the game would be.
  18. I would imagine only by the same people who would fall for the phone call from "microsoft" to tell them they have a virus
  19. Same lad tweeted just underneath that to say he had made it up to see if it would be picked up anywhere.
  20. Cantwell has been good since Val took over. Okay, not always *today* good, but sometimes it takes the right player-manager combo for the magic to happen and I think we're seeing that with these two.
  21. We would have lost today with Pears . Look how Toth not only made the saves but got the ball away out of danger, compare it to how Hulls keeper makes the save before Cantwell scores. Toth was excellent today, one area where we have massively improved this season.
  22. Today
  23. Gotta hold my hand up. I was fairly critical of Cantwell, but he certainly made me eat my words today(like Revidge). Showed why we signed him up on tub-thumping wages(at least by Venkys standards). Looked every inch a Premier League player. I have never called Hedges out though, and he does score great, unexpected goals! It`s just a pity its only one a season! Good structure to the team I thought(maybe Hull were just poor?) and shades of early JDT creativity, with more physicality thrown in. Enjoy tonight, boys. Long overdue.
  24. Would agree πŸ’― with this. A big powerful centre forward to battle centre halves is what we need. Gueye just isn't that player
