  1. Past hour
  2. Got to 7th last year with no support from Jan onwards.
  3. Is modern football now at the Facebook mum 'hun, here for you xx' level
  4. I find the narrative that hes collateral damage in an attempt to "change" to be a bit of a stretch. We wanted him to stay, he was an important player. We offered him a contract that like many wasnt sufficient. The manager didnt want or expect as much change that has happened. He isnt this hanger on that has been left behind as we move forward for the better. And he is a good Championship midfielder who knows how to win games and leads by example.
  5. Mate, do you go and watch the games!? Kinel, Iโ€™ve heard some sentimental stuff in my life but this is insanity!
  6. Might help her blood pressureโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜†
  7. We all know the culture throughout the club has been rotten for years. Weโ€™ve been perennial losers. The total inability to come back from going behind. The total lack of ability to win midweek away matches. Always losing the big games. Always managing a win when it doesnโ€™t matter anymore. These things tell me all I need to know. So a clear out was needed. Maybe it will work, maybe it wonโ€™t. But a least we are trying to do something different.
  8. I donโ€™t doubt that. And I assume sheโ€™d provide some more context if she wasnโ€™t shackled by a non disclosure agreement, or worried about legal repercussions. I just donโ€™t think what sheโ€™s written helps anyone.
  9. Suppose you see a different side to him in the interview- clearly didn't want to go and was Rovers through and through..
  10. He's been given chance after chance and failed to deliver. I'm delighted he's been shipped out.
  11. Nothing he hasnt freely admitted himself in the past. Man of principle? Do me a favour - Which manager doesn't try his utmost for the Club he's working for? (Apart from him) Too many people fooled by the old "Jumpers for goalposts, lemon drizzle cake" routine.
  12. Couldn't afford him. Will also never forgive him for hiding on the wing for 6 months.
  13. The cryptic posts annoy me too. We know the clubs shit behind the scenes. We don't want hints and wink winks. Either tell us or don't post anything at all.
  14. I think the Venkys have let BRFC down ,a hell of a lot more than Lewis Travis ! They are the problem !
  15. He already stated why he let us down he alleged he has refused to play or train. Not rocket science Rev
  16. Absolutely mental some of things coming out of that podcast. Tony happy with mid table? Didn't ask for investment when we were so close? I can't understand it.
  17. ? Totally agree and always have with this.
  18. I'm glad we're not paying money for loans - so we may look very attractive to PL clubs, but we wouldn't be at the front of the queue.
  19. Oh for the days when players didnโ€™t have social media to vent their views, emotions, grievances etc etc. Tweets, photos, emojis, so boring and too much self indulgent garbage being spouted. Weโ€™re all supposed to feel sorry for rich footballers who feel hard done to because someone has dented their egos. Footballers and managers rarely show loyalty to their clubs, but my goodness do they milk it when they want a move, a bigger pay packet or feel hard done to. Football has become like an episode of Love Island off the field.
  20. It's hard to defend the club, but it's starting to feel like we may actually be shipping a few bad apples out.
  21. Doesn't really matter. It's still unprofessional and, quite frankly, a bit pathetic. I've had jobs end in bitter circumstances and had instances where I felt like I was mistreated or got the short end of the stick, but I didn't start running my trap on LinkedIn posts or fundamentally trolling my former employer. And that is in an environment where my former employer didn't have fans and supporters. She knows what she's doing or she's a moron. Either way, it's not a great look. A former player liaison is going further than former players are going. Just let that sink in for a minute. It lacks class. It lacks professionalism.
  22. Just watched Buckleys interview again, the lads gutted! Would rather have kept him than sign Tavares. The lad bleeds blue and white.. Surely he was worth a go as a deep lying play maker alongside Trondstadt. Oh well, gutted. Such a shame.
  23. I think most posters on here, know only too well that there is something inherently wrong at the club. Granted it started 15 years ago, but the recent recruitment of Gestede and the prominent role that Sufi now seems to have, look to have created a big rift. How deep that goes, I do not know, but the old guard seem to have been largely cleaned out, so something looks very amiss.
