  1. Past hour
  2. Yes it definitely has an agenda that as usual with the people who run Rovers is looking to divide the fanbase again and cover their own backsides. It would be nice if those who chose to agree with everything it says at least acknowledged the rather obvious bias.
  3. Looks like a player who can play in multiple positions...But yeh not an out n out winger...Legia saying he's one of their best players
  4. I appreciate that some people feel the club manipulates the narrative. They absolutely do, as do all clubs to varying degrees. But I cannot see for the life of me what VI has done wrong to have people question his handling of the Travis situation. It would appear that he’s simply telling the truth. Derby did bid for him and he did say he wanted to leave. And just because Trav wanted to protect his own legacy by not divulging the fact, it doesn’t mean that VI has to lie for him. In fact, based on the reference to “an extremely unsettled last two weeks internally” as referred to by VI, I would surmise that there’s probably even more to the Travis fallout than what we know and that it’s become toxic, to the point that he was no longer welcome. VI hasn’t disclosed anything. Neither Buckley or Trav have been mistreated as far as I can see. One hasn’t been good enough for a couple of YEARS, the other has a better financial offer and wants to leave - both can jog on. The club owes them nothing and needs to protect itself and its own interests first and foremost. Football is a series of revolving doors, one player leaves and another comes in. We’ve sold the likes of Shearer, Sutton, Duff and Bellamy. Rovers will go on without Trav and Bucko.
  5. Pickering on his way out? Feels bizarre? Edit - seems he plays RW for Legia?
  6. I suspect we could sign a 70 year old and because any balance has long gone with you and Gallagher, you would still take the 70 year old.
  7. There's definitely a player in there. The problem is is he varies from looking virtually unplayable as at West Brom under Lowe to looking like he's never seen a football before, there seems to be very little in-between with him, very few solid 7/10 performances. The key is unlocking the WBA version on a regular basis. That said if you could do that he probably wouldn't be here in the first place. Edit: Don't see much future for him under VI. VI seemingly doesn't rate him and Gueye knows it and has sort of sagged as a result. We can't let him go without a better replacement coming in though, we're already bereft of options up front. Not sure how he can jettison Leonard either really without giving him some sort of chance but that appears to be the way that ones going as well.
  8. To be fair, before he became so injury prone he was better than Gueye.
  9. He's a very poor player who VI doesn't rate. I don't think he'll go in this window though as it would be tough to get a replacement in and we're already light up top. Suspect he will leave in Jan though.
  10. He also said yesterday that Travis had let his team mates down. Just seems unnecessary, didnt have to say that. But as I said, its not what Ismael has said that doesnt sit right. That twitter account is clearly beyond just your average ITK. Its clearly someone on the inside that has got every single thing right that he/she has said. But is clearly either trying or is under instruction to try and make those leaving seem unreasonable/unprofessional to turn fans against then. Nothing to do with an agenda. Its not how a football club should be operating, posting things like that behind a cryptic twitter account. You look at Everton at the moment. Moyes has mentioned a potential leak of transfer info etc so is trying to flush it out. Any club would. This club is proactively leaking this info to make itself look as positive as it can despite shedding so many key players and being totally incapable of sorting new contracts.
  11. That Stoke player sam something...Gallagher that's it, he looks a real handful from what I've seen of Stoke. Maybe a loan with the option to make it permanent
  12. Are players even being offered a new contract? I think whether Hyam and Hedges sign a new contract or not will tell us a lot, particularly Hedges. He's a player who will be well within our wage structure and will have zero interest from any other championship clubs. If he goes in the next 12 months then we know current players are simply not being offered new deals.
  13. Gueye going is somewhat expected in a way, as Ismael doesn't appear to rate him. The problem is can Rovers replace him and bring in extra depth in attack where we appear to be lacking. I don't see a way in which Hyam can leave in this window. He and McLoughlin appear to be forming a decent partnership. Should be an interesting week anyway!
  14. Would be a shame if Gueye goes. He won us some important points last season by using his presence to worry defenders. His replacement would need to add a different dimension also
  15. From a Reddit thread on the Championship board, talking about protests... Cov fan Literally none of it worked. It's depressing as fuck, and eventually I just stopped going. Most effective is whatever is going to cost the owners more money, and give them bad publicity. But if they've got it in their head they're not leaving without making a profit, or regaining their losses, there's no way of forcing them out. A 100% boycott might work, but it'll never happen because they'll always be fans who go no matter what. Sheff Wed fan There are so many “I just want to watch the game” fans it beggars belief. It’s as soul destroying as the ownership. Preston fan "we should be grateful to the owners for keeping us afloat" is one I hear a lot. Congrats. They did the bare minimum Cov fan Yeah I’m sorry to say that literally nothing worked. We had 5,000 fans marching through the city, tennis ball protests, fans on the pitch during games protesting, a whole movement dedicated to boycotting games and buying nothing from the club (shirts etc), verbally abusing the chairman and board. None of it worked. Bad owners don’t care about how fans feel. They just wait for an offer that will make their money back. Sorry lads. Cov fan At the height of us being fucked around by our previous owners, NOPM (not one penny more) movement was created - fans would refuse to spend any money on the team, including going to the games. Im not sure if it worked, Sisu genuinely didn't seem to give a shit. It did, however, create a bit of a divide amongst the fans and you can still hear some people in the grounds take a bit of a swipe at those returning to the ground once the good times started up again. They'll wear those miserable years in Birmingham and Northampton like a badge of honour. At the end of last season I genuinely heard a Cov fan saying he missed the days when the attendance was 6k at the Arena because they had more space to sit wherever they wanted.
  16. Come on everyone, Big Val's going to take us to the promise land. This year is our year!!!
  17. You know somet is wrong if Gueye isn’t happy, didn’t think any of them looked as happy as they would do last season.
  18. Did notice his post match interaction wasn't the same no shout on tunnel cam and didn't smile much after the celebration
  19. Repeatedly called him out? There are many sticks to beat Rovers with but I just don't think this is one of them. As far as I recall Ismael said Travis wants to leave. That is absolutely true so as far as I'm concerned it's better that we, the fans know things like that. The other stuff is just what some ITK is putting out there and as with most ITK 'revelations' people will believe it if it suits their own agenda.
  20. Privy will be lining that up as his next tweet.
  21. Those players will probably struggle to make match day squads once everyone is fit and may even leave when they inevitably sign more players this week.
