  1. Past hour
  2. Had a good view of Gudjonson's header at the time and there didn't seem room to score. Watching it back it was a quality finish, and a great ball.
  3. So I was one of those that didn't think this mish mash of signings would work, mixed with some of our experienced lads. We've seen times of utter dog shit leaving us all scratching our heads at the combinations and the names from far out places that have ended up at Ewood for let's be honest, the price of milk. With that price tag comes instant opinions this lad'll be shit, this is gonna be appalling. They aren't without their flaws. Even the best of the best have off days (Mr Messi.... Mr Ronaldo...) Looking back mentally across the last 5 games something has happened. Derby game we weren't up for the challenge. Was it the poor home support? Were they tired? Mentally unprepared? Who knows. But prior to that something had clicked. And post international break.... boy did it click hard! There's something that's developing amongst this team for me personally that is changing my opinion on the team as a whole. Looked how we've been playing. It works. We've finally found an identity. PNE Fans said they were shitting it for atleast 70 minutes of lastnights game because we looked dangerous every time we moved forward. Music to the ears.. Coventry fans, table toppers saying we were the best team that gave em a game at the CBS. Our battles against Bristol, Leicester all come with high compliments. Something is working and I personally am a bit excited about this team for the first time, properly. Not getting carried away by lastnights results but somethings coming together and it brilliant to see. Let's hope we can get loud on Wednesday and push home for another win. Interested to see if anyone else has had a change of heart COYB
  4. You'd think so but then again, these are the same people who appointed Russell Martin.
  5. I think he deserves credit for sure for recent results, and the change in formation certainly has really helped. I dont think he is doing a good job overall though, no. His record in charge still is poor, but it was terrible before recent results. And this doesnt matter but I also find him incredibly difficult to warm to. Very much the type of manager that suits these owners and this board, willing to talk rubbish publically to protect them. Im guessing that you think hes doing a good job.
  6. long may it last.
  7. I have not seen enough of Litherland to form an opinion.
  8. I think they need another match between now and the next test, like a pink ball or something. We've hardly played whilst we've been out there.
  9. Yep get back in yer box! 😆👌
  10. This is the first game this season (and we're at the end of November) that I'm expecting we will win. QPR are very inconsistent, they won't bring many fans up to East Lancashire on a miserable cold November mid-week. It won't be a classic but I think we'll win this 1-0.
  11. The plan should be to put Rovers fans in the Darwen End, put the players in the away changing room, play in gold, take the players to Crewe on the coach, then it around to drive back to Ewood and move the technical areas around. Hopefully then it will feel like an away match and we just might nick it. 😂
  12. Super Blues v Superhoops - can Rovers find some Ewood form or will Rangers ruin the post-Deepdale feel good mood?
  13. which you would expect cos Liverpool will always dominated the ball
  14. With Forest having about 25% of the ball.
  15. TNT sports losing its TV rights for all UEFA competitions from 2027/28 to 30/31. Paramount plus will hold Champions league rights and Amazon will pick the top game from Tuesday fixtures Sky have got the Europa league and Conference league rights Paramount wins Champions League broadcast rights in UK and Ireland - The Athletic
  16. I still think he's shite. We're 18th in the league, we've won one home game and got knocked out the cup by a lower league team. If I was appointed instead of him last year I think I could have made a better fist of getting us into the playoffs than he did. Anyone being smarmy about him because we won a local derby can jog on for me. I never wanted him appointed and my jaw will go through the floor if he ever musters anything measurable as 'success', which would be qualifying for the playoffs, he won't. Edit - I don't want to see anyone using transfer policy as an excuse for him. When he interviewed for the job, that was his chance to interview the club about it's plans to progress. If he didn't ask, didn't listen, or simply waved through their shambolic, tinpot, unambitious plans then he doesn't get the excuse of "doing well with a poor squad".
  17. Given the hand he’s been dealt I think he’s doing a good job. There’s no lack of effort from the players. That hasn’t always been the case over the past few years.
  18. Enjoyable night out. We thoroughly deserved the win. North End didnt turn up. Two or three stand out performers with Tronstad dominant, but credit to all. This division must be amongst the most absorbing and hardest to predict in world football.
  19. Of the young Rovers centre halves I’ve seen he looked to have the most potential.
  20. Today
  21. I saw that happen in a FA cup tie - Rochdale v Oldham back in the early 1970’s. Rochdale went 2-0 late on up so the Oldham fans invaded the running track area trying to get the match abandoned. There was two mounted coppers on a little Kop area just to one side. They galloped the horses down the Kop, leapt over the barrier wall like it was the Grand National and galloped the full length of the pitch, turned around a galloped back ! People were diving head first back over the wall to get out of the way. How nobody wasn’t killed or seriously injured I’ll never know.
