Actually laughable that with the exact same thing happening only a couple of months ago the 'solution' during the intervening time has been to buy/borrow half a dozen water hogs that obviously are going to make zero difference on a football pitch in that state with the rain still peltering down. Like with everything else down there, superficial, cheap, minimal efforts to resolve an issue just end up making us look even more amateurish than before. We use the same hogs to try and dry the square at our amateur cricket club, not a full size football pitch in the Championship,

Another thing this does now is add a tonne of extra pressure to the Oxford game. We lose the extra 3 points a win would've given us, with a win taking them above us most likely, and the added pressure that if it's raining on Tuesday we likely won't be able to finish the game.

£35 a ticket and they get to charge people again. Result.

They’ve abandoned the game…..we as a club have been abandoned since our owners arrived. We’re done ….

I think that we were playing so bad despite leading by a goal that we would have eventually lost the game. At least this way when we replay the game we might have some of our injured players back and be a better proposition. We may also have some more players ( optimistic I know) as a result of the January transfer window.

Odd how Blackburn always gets more rain than anywhere else within a 10 mile radius and those weather fronts that move across the county magically deposit their rain within 1 square mile of Ewood Park 🤔 The government ought to do something about this surely?
