  1. Past hour
  2. They will have smelled blood, I wonder how by how many they will be outnumbered, not loads I imagine.
  3. Seen worse theories. Can't see what "leverage" a few agent's would have over Venky's though. Still think it's a matter of pride for them
  4. Unless Lowe is taking them to a tribunal (purely speculation by me) for unfair dismissal. Not knowing the circumstances and the confusion caused by Shaikhey it's left open to speculation.
  5. I think we should Occam's Razor this one actually - our internet team are shite.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if VI wasn't too impressed with the hair transplant gone wrong as a reason to miss a proper preseason, and the relationship may have deteriorated from there. Just a guess of course.
  7. Would appear to be a clear difference between the respective employment status of say Waggott who isn't on the list and Lowe, who still is, despite VI stating he was leaving.
  8. I noticed he was in there, but Tuffys job change happened over a month ago, so Lowe is still like Schrodinger's first team coach in my eyes Unfortunately that staff page has always been badly maintained. It had Ryan Kidd as U18 assistant manager for most of last season too, despite it being Tuffy, yet other positions seem to get updated almost straight away Obviously if Lowe was previously removed, and then re-added, it paints a picture as to developments though
  9. The Venky's 200m++ losses haven't vanished into thin air. The money has gone from India into football pockets. If you simply look at the money trail you have billionaires in India who won't particularly notice those losses and an agent network around Blackburn firmly attached to the teat. Presumably that network has some leverage which means Venky's can't or won't walk away. The EFL has far more problematic clubs than Rovers to worry about so Rovers can be a handy conduit for whatever. The original plan was to effect agent ownership of PL players but that got scotched so agent interest in having Rovers in the elite was no longer so great. Now it is all hunky dory in the Championship for the network so long as we don't accidentally get promoted to the Premier League where the public spotlight is very different... Just a guess.
  10. They've both seemed exactly the same so far.
  11. The new guy, Nacho Sancho (great name btw) only joined a couple of weeks ago and he is listed as Head of Performance (it had to be head of something).
  12. Good to see youngsters signed up for the longer term. Gotta say that whatever we think of Pears, to go from first choice to outta here is strange. Yes he has had some howlers but also a good stretch before getting injured. Maybe he has been promised the Derby gravy train, but if he goes and Toth gets injured we have a rookie between the sticks. Has to be a money thing.
  13. Was Lowe removed from that list & then re-added? or just never removed in the first place? https://www.rovers.co.uk/club/staff/ It may just be out of date as It also still shows Tuffy as U18s manager, even though he is now U21 assistant manager
  14. Lowe must be very well in with someone who has the ears of Pune. Looked like Eustace tried to get rid but he was just sent on other duties then reappeared. Very odd stuff for a low level coach maybe Suhail himself is trying to get him reinstated after he was pushed out by VI and Gestede ?
  15. Oh great, another transitional year, another journey, another excuse. Just what we need to celebrate 150 years. The only transition we are undergoing is from bad to worse.
  16. Revolutionary. Did they not put a ten quid surcharge on for your nerve of just walking up and asking to buy !
  17. Every club within 100 miles radius now has its big day out at Ewood.
  18. Well we are favourites, just. The odds suggest the bookies don't really know which way this is going (or at least, after they've had betting in from fans they've weighted it so it could be seen as going any way).
  19. That's exactly what I have heard.
  20. Yes. According to the rumours he is the owners' eyes and ears on the training ground and in the dressing room.
  21. The odds reflect weight of money. Rhubard and custard supporters are obviously feeling full of cash at the moment.
  22. Taking cash for tickets in store, just got 3
  23. I have heard before that he has been sacked and reinstated, on more than one occasion, so that's no surprise that and I believe we has the ear of the owners.
