  1. Past hour
  2. I see the sense of humour bypass, worked.
  3. What makes you think it’s an over exaggeration and we won’t go down?
  4. Perhaps the players have been told, that when playing away from Wembley, it is important to quieten the crowd.
  5. Substitute "where was", with "that is".
  6. I guess one of the differences now is not many top level players drop down the divisions towards the end of their careers. Larger squads, better fitness conditioning and, probably most importantly, the fact they are financially set up for life (if they are half-way sensible) before they reach 30 means they have no need to continue playing at a lower level. Presumably some do for the love of playing or to get into management as a player-manager. The days of teams like Rovers picking up a Frank Stapleton or Howard Kendall are largely gone.
  7. I've told you a million times, to stop exaggerating.
  8. I’d bite my own arms off for 21st
  9. Today
  10. I think Van Ewijk and Pereira are the best 2 in the league. then about 5 or 6 players similar quality of player and Brittain is one of that 5/6 in
  11. Exclusive By Alan Nixon Chelsea’s bid to sign super teen Camden Schaper has hit an agonising snag that has left the kid in limbo. The London giants have agreed a stunning Β£750,000 deal with Blackburn Rovers for the 13-year-old wonder. However there is a huge paperwork problem as Schaper is South African and only joined Blackburn’s academy when they got special permission for him to be in the country. Schaper came to England with his family 18 months ago and was granted residency status to play for Rovers as a young hopeful. But if Chelsea want to sign Schaper and take him permanently they need to apply for a VISA and that may not be successful because of his age. And in a further twist Chelsea do not want to spend the money and then risk being snubbed by the government about signing the whizz kid. The process can only be gone through once the transfer is complete - and that also could impact the player. If Schaper is not granted a visa to play he would not have a club and be unable to move to any British team until he applies again - a year later. It is a troubling hurdle for all parties to face and Schaper is currently still at Blackburn until Chelsea decide whether to take the gamble with the bureaucratic system. Chelsea’s legal team are looking into the problem while Schaper continues to train and play for the Rovers academy.
  12. But houldn’t we trying to put the ball in the net at the other end boss?
  13. top 5 or 6. Pereira at Leicester (if he gets back to where he was), Young at Ipswich (if his legs haven't dropped off), Mads Roerslev at Southampton & van Ewijk at Coventry are probably the stand outs . But Brittain comes in the next lot after that for me
  14. Callum Brittain is not the best right back in this league
  15. Pasha be rubbing his hands together at that news. β€˜Sell sell sell!’.
  16. Good summary, RE Pratts 1 month loan, Olson originally joined Altrincham on a 1 month loan last season, played himself into being a regular starter and saw out the season, winning their young player of the year award. I don't mind the short term (anything outside of the transfer window) loans as a way of finding a good fit, either for a longer term loan or another loan higher up the ladder. Short term loans to non league teams offer that flexibility. As they can be recalled and sent elsewhere at a moments notice if it is not working out or if they are obviously a level below where they should be. Either way, they still get some experience in an environment where results matter against grown men, which is a marked change of pace from academy football which focuses mainly on skill/technique
  17. we have good defenders and alot of them are playing champions league or previously have plenty of PL experiences. Hall is being slowly brough back into the first team. White is quality player for me. him, Guehi, Konsa, Burn and Colwill would be good 5 centre back to take the world cup
  18. @KentExile has posted his CV so matched most of it what we wanted. lets judge Rhodes on the job he does here.
  19. on Gueye, he hasn't progress under Ismael cos he doesn't suit our style anymore. on Gestede, he has been full control along with Owen and Ismael with signings this summer without in fighting we witness the summer previously exactly my point
  20. lol I had actually forgotten that we had β€œ signed” baradji
  21. https://www.englandfootball.com/articles/2025/Sep/06/england-mens-under-18s-morocco-match-report-20250609 Seems he was on the pitch for 25 minutes. He came on with the score at 1-1 to score the 2nd and 3rd goals for England in a 4-1 win
  22. I assume that they are trying to negotiate for someone who doesn't mind being controlled by an unseen hand. My money is on this guy Although he does have some stiff competition
  23. And doesn't stay fit for more than 12 minutes at a time
  24. It would seem he does have the on paper qualifications, in fact he may even be over-qualified based on qualifications alone. It's the practical experience (which may be more important than paper qualifications) that he lacks. I will assume he has a driving licence πŸ˜‰ If we are going to be critical of Rovers, there are plenty of things to criticise them for without us resorting to either guessing or making things up
  25. Slow, tedious, boring where was the tempo?
