  1. Past hour
  2. I would be tempted the get the lad with the dodgy foot signed. Sign him up if he's good. This way we can manage his return to fitness and hopefully avoid further injury while playing 70 mins in meaningless games. He can also use the time to get accustomed to doing things the Rovers way get up to speed with Val's style of play and football philosophy.
  3. Two deputies of "starting standard" who are willing to sit on the bench virtually every week? That's the balance required, not easy to achieve.
  4. Not 4 of the same quality, but 2 deputies that you can at least start who are of a reasonable standard. Like Baker and hopefully Tavares.
  5. Horses for courses n all that, there aren't many teams that can carry 4 or 5 "starters"
  6. and you quoted that you don`t drinkπŸ˜†
  7. They were offered support from an external company to fund the women's team and they turned it down and then disbanded it. It's just another glaring example of what pathetic, petulant pieces of shit they are.
  8. Hopefuly he doesnt start any games as hes not good enough to do so.
  9. Sorry but if Tugay is not in your best all time Rovers 11 then you've got it wrong. There's a few players that should always be in there regardless: Shearer - No explanation necessary Tugay - World class. Made mugs out of so many highly rated players with absolutely zero effort. Doesn't get anywhere near the amount of credit and respect he deserves. Friedel - The best Keeper in the world at one point, and that was whilst he was qas playing for us. Duff - Again, absolutely world class. Would get into any team around when he was at his peak, which again was whilst he was at Rovers. Another that gets talked about and is mentioned by many folk: Douglas - Much harder for those of us who didn't see him to comment as there's not the video evidence available for the others, but he's always so highly rated by those who did see him that's hard to ignore. Also played in a totally different era so that's hard to compare. Bob Crompton could also be in this category, even harder as there's nobody alive who saw him play. Again, a completely different era.
  10. Maybe so but different members represent different groups. We can still ask questions through those members and get answers we want. Might not be answer we like but its on the record Have you been an open supporters meeting at Rovers?
  11. I commented on football in that thread and the fact I wouldnt be watching and nor did I. He will start the odd game maybe more cup games but I expect more rotate this season squad wise especially for cup games.
  12. That's what I said earlier, coming on to shore a game up
  13. I thought it was just a case that for 20 minutes to help to see out a win, he had a use. You wouldnt want him to start though.
  14. Today
  15. He played 16 games for Plymouth, same as Rovers , how many minutes that equates to I've no idea. He definitely seemed to get better as the season went on, I put that down partly to fitness , I've no evidence, just how it appeared. If you've evidence to the contrary, let's hear it.
  16. Was merely commenting on the fact that a club who finished in a similar part of the table has made a good signing. Absolutely no need for the sarcasm. Has more relevance than who is playing darts in the England football thread.
  17. so Carter, Hyam, McLoughlin and Wharton are enough quality? the reason we need another is down to Carter's injuries and Wharton just back from long term serious issue Yes we need another right winger signing and we actually agree on that. Is Tyjon not ready to play?
  18. Lets see what happens this week regarding Brittain No I don't drink anymore and I don't need to for a range of different reasons but what that's got to do with yourself I don't know Still expect 3 signings. Right winger, centre back and I would prefer another striker but Rovers want a CM Maybe Ismael doesn't want 2 first team coaches but he said it was his choice to move Lowe on. We did replace Karl Hodges with Nacho Sancho as head of performance/fitness plus we got Adam Yates as fitness coach. Hodges gone to Derby Current staff Ismael as head coach, Whitehead as number 2, Johnson as first team coach, Benson and Renshaw as GK coaches, Sancho and Yates as fitness coaches. do we need loads of coaches? and? what that got to do with Rovers?
  19. Right wing, up front, number 10, centre back, centre mid. With only a couple more it screams of another spiral in the winter because the squad isnt up to scratch.
  20. By accident rather than by design. It doesn’t replicate the open forum format, which is what happens with supporter consultation.
  21. Goes to show what a bit of sponsorship or funding achieves.
  22. How do you know I haven't factor quality or readiness? who in the squad I posted isn't ready to play? Which position don't we have enough Quality in?
  23. isn't the fans forum made up of people representing different groups and asking questions to people from Rovers?
  24. Absolutely brilliant news. More money that venkys have to find themselves.
  25. Are their owners just buying all the second clubs in a region?
