  1. Past hour
  2. Add to the first game that's at least another 3k paying customers they've managed to lose over the two games combined. Never mind, the prices rises covered that !
  3. We don't know what they Baradji situation is. Ismael didn't say too much or whether he would even on surgery on the problem. He didn't dismissed Browne he said he hasn't spoken to the player himself. Gudjohnsen is here, having his medical. Possible at yesterday game but kept out of sight
  4. Pears is on more money than Toth, so they want to get him out of the club in the hope that Toth doesn't ask for parity now that he is first choice
  5. If I can reply in your style: What point are you trying to make? Have we not just lost four out of five? Are you saying that's good enough? If the players are trying and well drilled now, how can we possibly expect any improvement?
  6. Last week's game was an outlier against a side ravaged with injury and illness, most sensible folk could see that.
  7. After last win, everything was rosy. Now after yesterday's loss, they team isn't well drilled. Far too early to judge our signings. Some have look good so far and some not.
  8. I understand that new signings need time to bed in. I don't think this is lost on anyone. The point is, there shouldn't be a need for this scale of the first team to be new signings who are untested at this level. Our situation is a result of the contract strategy employed by the club. At some point the fact that we sold our captain and replaced him either either a highly dubious prospect or a crocked player will dawn on people.
  9. Tbf I thought tronstad was exceptional in the second half.
  10. I wouldn't say so. Ismael just isn't very good Chaddy, you figured that out after a few games but spectacularly backtracked for some reason. Granted recruitment hasn't helped him out much replacing most of our championship experience with cheap foreign punts, but still.
  11. I dont rate Kargbo but to be fair against Hull it appeared his leg was very heavily strapped up. If he isn't fit, he shouldn't be playing. Only going to make the injury worse.
  12. If Val is happy with our current midfield options then it’s highly likely he won’t see the second international break Signing a player who is injured and the boss doesn’t know what the situation is with the injury or has a timeframe is baffling considering our needs he dismissed Browne because let’s be honest he will be on the high side of our wage budget we need an experienced mf and we need a striker ready to hit the ground running the excuses stop now the window will be closed there’s 2 weeks of training it’s all duck or no dinner
  13. I really don't see anything- looks lazy and reluctant or unable to make a tackle.. I'm happy to judge him based off his performances thus far and I see no stand-out attributes.. Bloody hope we sign Browne!
  14. Yeah, he's quite happily gone along with the plan to put a match to last season's side which finished 7th and replace most of the best players. If it doesn't work, he's as much to blame as anyone else.
  15. There is truth on both sides of this debate, as with almost everything in life. We as fans do tend to over-react to negative results and have biased opinions on things like officiating (incidentally I also think it has been poor). As Chaddy etc point out we are only 5 games into the season and the new guys are barely settled in the country let alone the squad and it will take some time to see how it all gels. There was far too much optimism on here after the Hull result and the signing of Morishita last week and now we've bumped straight back to doom and gloom. None of this is to say I disagree. I have been deeply worried about the downgrading of the squad over the summer, and indeed the last 15 years, and I think we will be in a relegation battle this year (see the Squad Review thread). I agree with other posters that some of the new guys do not look good enough; De Neve in particular for me looks like he offers nothing. Others, like Tavares, look like they need to settle and get up to speed of English football; in his case, I think he needs a much faster guy next to him to make up for his more languid European style, ironically Travis would have been perfect, but Suhail/Gestede seem to plan for that to be Baradji. Ultimately, until Venkys go we can only watch and comment, things which everyone is entitled to an opinion on.
  16. What areas? Browne would have been ideal but we dont what the terms are or maybe he wants certain guarantees. Ismael said he not spoken to the player. Maybe downplaying the link until a deal or maybe he is happy with midfielder options or another target. We see in 36 hours time.
  17. They'll have to hurry through a Gudjohnsen unveiling video today, maybe a few hilarious Rudy shops at Iceland type gags to appease the fans 😕
  18. When there’s a few games left of the season and it’s too late… as usual.
  19. They can be as well drilled as they want but if the tactics are crap you're still going to lose more often than not. For example: Russell Martin
  20. Why can’t he be blamed for it?
  21. Listen to him, he seems happy with his options Yes I would another keeper with championship experience with Toth Michalski. I never seem Goddard play He was nervous and he made a mistake. I deffo won't be writing him off after that Debut. Well he isnt for what ever reasons. Something has happened behind the scenes
  22. Well thank Christ you’re here to tell us how to be proper fans….. Whether you agree with people or not, they’ve a right to their views. Also, I’d say this isn’t just about 4 or 5 games, this is about 15 years of failure, downgrading and general under achievement. I’d say the fans have been more than reasonable for too long.
  23. It's 4 defeats in 5 including one against Bradford but sure. Can I ask how many games we're before we're allowed to point out what we're seeing with our own eyes?
  24. If results don't improve I can guarantee you we won't. But hey, you just carry on like the three wise monkeys with your fingers in your ears and your hand over your eyes pretending everything is just fine if it makes you feel better.
  25. Last week, after last week win, Tavares look good, Kargbo had an impact. After a loss, they shit now. Far too many of you lot are jekyll and hyde whether we win or lost. @callumroversand @Exiled_Roverposts are spot on. Player numbers means sod all these days.
