Indeed it is as this lot uniquely have no interest in making a fist of it on the pitch or giving it up as a bad job. -

Hope you’re right, but I see absolutely no inclination of wanting to sell. For me in November 2035 we’ll be having this same conversation (with no academy and Christ knows in what division). -

Considering Baradji was our stellar, number one Trav-busting target and he's now featured in a couple of games, surely he starts this game with the injuries we have. We will then see if he's anywhere near the hype the club tried to build around him. Or if he's a Sidnei. -

Their revenue in real terms has collapsed in fifteen years, yet are they any closer to the door now then, say, in November 2015? -
“The biggest mistake we (Venky’s) ever made was listening to Steve (Waggott) and Fraser (Read) and reducing season tickets by £30. What do you want next year, a reduction of £150?” Make no mistake. Having a revenue shortfall hurts them. Its the only form of protest that has had ANY reaction from the owners.

Yes but we don't have any assets left to sell so now we're back in the territory of them having to plough in money just to keep the lights on. I agree they don't care about the fans which is exactly why protests don't and won't work. Squeezing them financially is the only thing that will. The days of protests working are long gone with many clubs having absent foreign owners who don't have any association with the area. -

They’d still go nowhere in such an eventuality. They’d just mothball the stands and close Brockhall and the Academy -

There will be talented guys in the lower Leagues about who are on the up and would still see us as a decent opportunity. Whether of course we could identify such a candidate is of course a completely different matter. We need a new Ken Furphy and to get rid of the 2 stooges. -

Different kettle of fish, direct, physical, wont be as open. Will play off Keiffer Moore and swing high balls in around Pears. Midfield much stronger than ours. Have found their feet at this level. Take a point now. -

Probably not. We've been written off in their eyes, consigned to the metaphorical bottom drawer to be forgotten about in the hope that one day we might come good. I can't any catalyst for them selling - at least not financial. In the grand scheme of their multi billions, we're a little blip on the balance sheet -

I actually thought Ismael had thrown the towel in and made those changes with one eye on Saturday. It wasn't tactical and certainly wasn't done to strengthen us likewise the double change later. -

Whoever they appointed would probably be at least as bad because nobody decent would want to come. VI probably only came because of the three and a half year contract and he just wanted a job. -

Wednesday will win nailed on. The beginning of a death spiral into L1. The owners and their quislings don't give a f**k. Just sell a few more of what little quality there is left. And then the quislings blame the fans for not turning up - to watch a team that will have won only about 4 home matches in the calendar year. -

Why should an empty stadium bother them, or for the matter declining income? Their solution as always is to sell another asset. The fans mean nothing to the owners - as we know. -

I don't think there was any better way of telling QPR "we're done, go for it". Appreciate we don't have much squad depth, but at least stagger the subs if they're going to be such poor quality. Try to keep the better players on for a bit longer. -

Respectfully disagree again. Empty stadiums and silent protests are absolutely the way forward when you have foreign owners. Venky's don't care if people have banners in the ground or protests marches outside, they're in their ivory towers in India - and the club just dismiss it as the minority anyway. However, they can't dismiss an empty stadium and dwindling match day income as just a minority. That hits Venky's in the pocket (with no assets left to sell to cover those losses), which is the only thing they care about. Venky's want the club to be self-sufficient and that's why we get rid of our high earners and buy 'assets' that can be sold for a profit (although they'll be in for a surprise if they think they can make a profit on the players signed in the summer). -

I cannot talk for the rest of the fan base, but I cannot emphasise enough my personal horror at losing Tronstad before the game. Added to Wharton, Carter, Cantwell and Toth all of whom make up the starting 11 left me completely deflated even before a ball was kicked, I admit it. Then the game kicked off and nothing I witnessed cheered me up in the slightest, intact it made me realise how grim things are going to be.
