I had wondered where the money had come from, for the signings / bids this window. Now it makes sense, they've been banking on making some £££ from Alebiosu.

Only just noticed today, that outside the JW there are four flags: Rovers Lancashire 150th Anniversary And one other, it seems to be a Venkys flag? It's white with a blue chicken on it and says "VH Group". How long has it been there? Should be at half mast for what they're doing to the club.

I would start Valerian Joseph ahead of Ohashi.. He's miles better, as is Higgins. They both should be in and around the first team. Ohashi needs replacing with someone significantly better then selling freeing up a spot for one of our emerging youngsters. Same with Mcloughlin, replace with someone significantly better and leave the other spot for emerging youngsters. Centre midfield is also horrific- Foreshaw is significantly better than Tavares, Henriksson and TGH. Horrific business, need two good centre mids- then you're still short out wide. Absolutely horrific window. Squad's a a complete unbalanced mess!

Looking forward to Ohashi missing at least one glaringly good opportunity whilst running around looking busy. Hate seeing forwards press for pressings sake. I want my forwards using their energy intelligently, moving well off the ball, getting into the channels, holding the ball and bring other people into play. Since the days of Gallagher I feel like we play with, what are essentially, defensive forwards. Waste of energy and consequentially, your forwards are rarely in a decent position. Not that it makes a difference with Ohashi. Don't dislike the guy and would love nothing more than eat some humble pie. However other than a few good moments when he first signed he's a 4/10 and if we're going to rely on him (say another injury to Gudjohnsen- who I'm also not entirely convinced by) then we're absolutely going down.

Links to wingers like Dapo and Maswanhise make sense if/when we sell Alebiosu. Switch the back 4, Miller "signed as a RB", ready made left backs Pickering/Ribeiro (let's be honest it's Cashin urgh), morishita "like a new signing, back from injury"

Not so sure about that. LT now reports a formal bid from Genoa being rejected. There will be plenty of bids for Alebiosu on deadline day, think Everton is a likely destination and one that can happen quickly given the proximity between the clubs geographically. Owners will pocket the money and board will find a cheap youngster (lad from Sutton Utd?) or a loan as a replacement. If that happens and we also don't get a proper target man before window closes, then we'll get relegated.
