  1. Past hour
  2. We're owned by billionaires, of course we could keep him if we wanted too, however this club doesn't want a certain type of player anymore so I can only presume that we don't really want to keep him. Every player? i didn't say that on De Neve? And it starts, always the players fault.
  3. Good old Nixon wins the game of bingo Rovers 'trying' to tie them down Offering a good length contract Players are after 'big' money and waiting on other clubs That's the party line right there, as predicted and exactly the narrative the club stooges want the paying fans to believe. The truth is we haven't tried. The players confirmed this relatively recently in their press interviews. What we see now is the cover up con job to try and shift the blame and narrative and convince some of the naive elements of the support base that we've 'done all we can' before a sale is rushed through Total and utter liars and charlatans still using Nixon and Telegraph to do their dirty work.
  4. He’s apparently very adept at ghosting in at the far post.
  5. I have read the Nicko story and He has reported that Travis has been offered a 3 year contract but he is asking for big money and waiting on Wrexham to make an acceptable bid. Fee mentioned in the article is Β£2m plus extras. Brittain is asking for more money than we been offered. That is what has been reported by Nicko. my thoughts are Wrexham will offered big wages above what we will of Β£25k plus weekly wages and I don't see Rovers doing that. Would you do that? Also I think we will get Brittain and Tronstad new contracts done before the start of the season
  6. Oh well if you’re pretty sure we could keep Travis even though he’ll be offered more money elsewhere and will be going to a club on the rise, he’ll be signing any day now. Even though you know that β€˜historically’ Rovers offer some some of the lowest wages in the division and have zero ambition? And every player we’re linked with you say β€˜no chance’ so you know nobody wants to come here cos it’s shit. Make it make sense.
  7. And we dont sign up existing first team players to new contracts anymore. If we genuinely wanted to keep Travis, I'm pretty sure we could, however as history suggests our offer will be token at best. Some stories Nixon pens I will believe based on historical information available, others i won't. So I can have it both ways.
  8. He started to shine when he moved positions and started to play further forward. Before that he was pretty ordinary. Maybe before your time but Andy McEvoy was another example. Pretty average attacking midfield player but when he was moved further forward - a goal scoring machine up there with Denis Law and Jimmy Greaves.
  9. you couldn't wait to post Nixon story on here. Are Wrexham really going to pay a transfer fee and commitment to a 3 year contract on big wages, Does that fit their model? Also depend how far we are away from agreement is a small amount like 3 or 4k, or it is above 10k apart.
  10. Travis will want as much money as he can get, he’ll also want to play for an ambitious club. So it’s pretty easy to see that history suggests this one will be correct. You can’t have it both ways.
  11. It's pretty easy to see that history suggests that this one would be correct? He's also getting the spin in that Trav wants more money from Wrexham, all the players fault you know.
  12. different story when he reported stories that fit some people narrative
  13. but you have reacted to Nixon story so why if you don't believe when the story doesn't fit your own narrative.
  14. But I thought everyone on here said he talks shit anyway?
  15. its embarrassing seeing certain people put England performances and result down to luck not what actually happened on the pitch
  16. So this is the Nixon story via Rovers Xtra, not sure if there were specifics given about Brittain in the original story?
  17. I'd have no issues with his leg getting snapped at Ewood next season. Also says a lot about what a mard cunt Eustace was.
  18. Its more based on the fact that they havent signed new deals yet. We have seen it all before.
  19. Given our history with contract negotiations over the past 18 months, this one probably looks more true than his other stories, no? That doesnt answer the question.
  20. Even when we were the best team in the country we couldn't fill a 31k stadium. With the overall rise in crowds over the last 30 years we could well have got to filling the stadium regularly had we stayed as a leading Premier League club. I guess it depends on how you define a fan base. Does it include those who will turn up for the occasional big match and take a casual interest in what is going on? If that is the case then 13k is a minority of that total. If you only include those who would ever go regularly to games (depending on the success of the team and other factors relating to the club, such as it's ownership) and/or take a more detailed interest in the club then 13k is a significant proportion. I respect those who have deliberately boycotted - that must be a painful thing to do. But surely the reality is that the managed decline of the club and the lack of success on the field is the key factor in the hollowing out of the support. The season in League One showed that supporters will return if there is a genuine prospect of success.
  21. Or Nixon knows and our Club reporter is getting fed a pack of lies...Just like the Sagnan story...
  22. No surprise whatsoever and just further evidence that we will never go anywhere but down with this ownership. 2 of our best players are now likely to be sold for a fraction of their value and replaced with inferior quality. Get these scumbags out of our club.
