  1. Past hour
  2. Absolutely pathetic chaddy. Beyond embarrassing.
  3. That is a fabulous shout, ticks a lot of boxes. Young, cheap, doesn’t need ESC spot, big for a fast winger, from a relegated team. Would be happy with Forson. Would also have been okay with Hanley coming back for a year. He is a bit slow but then so was Baath.
  4. Today
  5. I wonder, is it compulsory to have a CEO, or can a football club operate without being challenged is such a person is not appointed? Not that I'm overly concerned, either way, because the simple fact is we could appoint a turnip (or swede) and it would still be told what to do and say by the shady folk in the shadows... Come on you root vegetables! SHADY VENKY STOOGES OUT!
  6. Plan 😂 heard it all now, fact is our better players have left without our control because it’s a shit show. Staff have left because it’s a shit show. Managers have left because it’s a shit show. Fans have left because it’s a shit show. Everyone who has left has been replaced cheaper. It’s always everyone else’s fault bar venkys and pasha , they can’t do no wrong 😂😂 if ismael really got what he wanted, we wouldn’t be making a profit.
  7. You know this for fact? No one who attended the FF meeting has blamed O2G Unlike yourself have they? Anyway I've leaving it there IraC.
  8. Maybe these meetings weren't as confrontational previously. Swag was there to just shrug his shoulders and fob people off and the heated exchanges were more with WATR. Seems as though they've now cut off contact with the Trust and there is no more swag so the FF meetings have become the only contact between the fans and club. With the likes of Glen there they're not going to be able to get away with just fobbing folk off with nothing answers and the fact that the shadow man is a complete gutless coward that can't handle any pressure whatsoever has brought up the current situation. Official minutes that show how unprofessional and incompetent these people are will not be something the club wants to put out there. Applying pressure on the shadow man clearly is having an effect. As I said previously, I can actually see a point in time where the club severs all contact with the fans as they simply can't handle the pressure. Even if there's a new CEO put in place, it needs to be demanded that the shadow man is in attendance as he is clearly the one running the show. Keep up the good work all involved 👍
  9. I guess it is now down to the people who were present at the meeting. It seems that we have two versions of the minutes. One version that the club were happy with, but several attendees weren’t and another version, that the club, have now rejected. Perhaps the club, now need to explain, their reasons for rejecting the second version, as the fans, are still in the dark. I haven’t seen either version, but of course the club, do have a responsibility, to meet with the fans and certain things need to be dealt with in order for them to comply with their responsibilities. It appears to me, they they are falling well short of this, but whether they are held to account or not, remains to be seen.
  10. Talking of which, how IS the search for a new "CEO" going?
  11. The great reset. One per season, which put another way, we messed the last one up, so let’s wipe the slate clean and start again.
  12. We must have had a plan every season because we always sign players. Next season we will have a different plan. Wheres the plan in terms of keeping our better players long term and renewing contracts? Wheres the plan in ensuring that our crowds dont continue to dwindle? Wheres the plan in having a compent and stable team off the pitch running the club?
  13. Well given what we have now learned from Glen Mullan, perhaps you need to show me and a few other people a bit more respect, It appears I am correct to say, what I have, or of course, you could carry on defending, someone, who despite good intentions, may have been letting the club off the hook.
  14. Yesterday
  15. Thank goodness you are calling this out. They were once again, getting away with this and for those who were happy to let them do so, by omitting things from the minutes and adding things that were lies, please have a serious look at yourselves. This time, they are not getting away with it, but perhaps they have in the past and as we have just seen with my reply to one supporter, people were convinced, fans were doing a good job on these meetings, yet it appears that they were letting the club, cover some serious issues up.
  16. Sadly, he has been allowing the club we love, to get away without being properly held to account. I am hopeful we will see exactly this, very soon, as we have had a club friendly version of the minutes and a non club friendly version this time and given they haven’t been challenged in the past, they have done more harm than good in my opinion.
  17. Come on chaddy - there was no "plan" to sell Brittain. We wanted him to sign a new contract and at one time apparently thought it was close. He didn't and therefore we we forced by necessity to bring in a cheaper and probably inferior alternative. (Although Im sure some posters will be jumping up and down about labelling him "nferior" without having seen him play etc.) To the extent there is a "plan" it appears to consist of replacing the better paid players with cheaper ones. If we were going through the first X1 one by one and improving the quality of player in each position, that would be an actual plan.
  18. So if no plan why have made 5 signings to fit the profile of player Ismael wants? If no plan why have we scouted and signed players from overseas? If we had no plan why was Brittain's replacement line up, deal agreed and at Brockhall set to sign before Brittain transfer was confirmed?
  19. I don’t think it’s done anything positive personally but that’s opinions. I also need to point out, if you talked to as many rovers fans as you could, young and old - the majority wouldn’t have described that as “a good move”. I personally think losing 6 on the bounce or whatever it was, did a lot more to open us up to media criticism.
  20. Interesting take. Thanks. My post was based (with only three or four days to go before the new season) about what would be the situation if we brought in another midfielder and defender without selling anyone, we'd temporarily have no space left in the squad for a winger or striker. To me we desperately need one or preferably two strikers and a right winger. I'd be bringing those players in first before piling players on top of more players in other areas. Your post assumes we'll be able to easily offload Travis, Leonard, Pears and Buckley. I'd imagine Clubs would be queueing up to buy Travis if we gave them any encouragement but it might not be so easy to shift the other three. Your theoretical squad actually looks quite a bit better than what we have currently but I'd say it's still massively imbalanced - potentially ten midfielders but only two strikers plus either Leonard or A.N. Other if we did manage to bring someone in. And of course all loans have to be registered so if we fill up the squad with more defenders and midfielders we still can't go down the loan route to bring strikers in without selling first. Unless they're under 21 which probably wouldn't be any upgrade on Leonard.
  21. My issue is the unprofessional outburst and aggressive nature of some of the club officials. They went to a place where they lost total control of their emotions and lashed out stating things they now clearly regret. We were just a panel of supporters giving our free time. I can't accept a retraction or minutes which state things which were never said or edits to change what was said , which in turn then make the published answer a lie and complete fabrication of the truth. Thankfully it appears particularly supporter group leads are all of the same opinion and are also rejecting on this basis
  22. They would have to scan his whole body to check for damages in his digestive system. Also all joints in his body as they can be effected also. There’s plenty of issues that can go wrong with crohns. My first thought would be they are waiting on results pending delay in announcement
  23. Didn't Elliott Jackson say today that we are NOT signing Baradji at the moment? We cant. Not enough ESC slots.
  24. The Consultation Meetings used to be recorded / broadcast on the radio so that everyone could directly hear what was said by the club. By comparison this nonsense over minutes is absolutely outrageous given it is the only way fans can find out about how the club is being run. If the joke that is the EFL had any interest or backbone they would not be accepting this arrangement as being compliant with their regulations on supporter communication/consultation.
  25. We are signing both according to Jackson and Nixon. Jackson said in his podcast signing a right winger is a priority now. Nixon said the player is experience and play overseas.
