  1. Past hour
  2. It does look like it would take miracle for him to still be employed by the time Christmas comes around, What a shame for the lego haired twonk
  3. i suppose he was,in the end it cost him his job,in all honesty he had 5 years and time ran out on him,was the right decision to let him go,mackay was a better manager as well
  4. martin will end up floating in the clyde if he carries on like this,it can get vicious up in glasgow in they don`t take to youπŸ™‚
  5. Someone post a few dodgy sticks over to this address please: Shadow man, Ewood Park, The filthy, neglected stadium in Blackburn, BB2 4JF As Matty says you’d almost question it if it was your local non-league club / clubhouse. It’s the bloody Blues Bar in Ewood Park, have some pride you useless shower
  6. I can not see past more of the same as long as we can not score goals we are not going to win games. Hull win with 2 assists by Rovers
  7. I wasn't a fan of Saxton tbh he was way too loyal to players who were past their best.
  8. If it is Β£15 extra every time you want to go into Jack's - can you imagine any Pub saying "Yep it's Β£15" if you want to be in here at any point when the game's on" "But dont worry - we'll chuck in a few sandwiches at half time!" They wouldn't remain in business 2 mins.
  9. Watching Rangers currently shitting the bed on Prime 3-0 behind at home to Brugge inside 20 mins in Champs league qualifier, the defending has been comical.Taxi for Martin before xmas the way he's started the season up there.
  10. I wondered, seems kike you went cold on Williams after your tenure as fans scribe. If you were treated like that, not even being told your services were no konger needed, I can't blame you. So safe to say, and I do not know how far back it goes, but Rovers have the LET in their pocket.
  11. I have often suspected that, in that case if it is true the sniwball should have been a half Nori
  12. Yes, several times. John Williams didn't like a headline I'd done relating to the ticket allocation for the Celtic away game and wouldn't speak to the LT for 2 weeks - they were cacking it! Unsurprisingly I was replaced at the end of that season and they didn't even have the courtesy to let me know. I found out in passing from someone else. I suspect it was "suggested" I be replaced. I was however invited onto the FF and face to face I got along fine with JW although I didn't agree with a lot of what he did such as the policy of filling the DE with away fans for big games. I argued the only way to fill Ewood with home fans on a long term basis was to give the likes of Liverpool and Man Ure smaller allocations for those games and try and sell the rest to Rovers fans and get them hooked. Involved more hard work though so was never done.
  13. a snowball in mr venkys mush has`nt helpedπŸ™‚i don`t think they`ve forgotten that, especially when they turned up expecting rapture, gratitude and mega plaudits, only to get loads of deserved abuse
  14. My brother has dealt with them for decades, when the protests started he said there's no way will they bend, it isn't in their culture.
  15. According to a source at the club they have suspended Travis for refusing to play. Unsure if I believe that or if it is a way of trying to turn us against Travis for wanting away.
  16. It is a weird one. Prior to the Court Case Id have said it was feasible Pasha was keeping them largely in the dark but since then they've taken steps to reduce net funding dramatically so they can't now be completely unaware of what's going on although I doubt they know Sky Football has been axed in Blues sort of thing. I think that as a Premier League Club we were a useful vehicle for the Venky's brand and the upcoming launch of Venky's Express but that never happened and since relegation we've been no actual use to them just a drain on their resources. As such whatever interest they ever had has gradually tapered off. They seemingly had a temporary burst of enthusiasm after the promotion from League 1 which Mowbray managed to extinguish. Thereafter it was plodding along on the road to nowhere for several years until the Court Case which seemingly ended any interest they ever had. Now they're putting in the absolute minimum possible by combining selling anything they can with cutting costs to the bone. Presumably still wanting to avoid the shame back home of a business going bust. Obviously from Pasha and Gestede's point of view it's well worth spinning them this fairy tale about how they can spend no money and retain Championship status to keep themselves in lucrative employment for as long as possible. Where this ends for us as a Club is anyone's guess. We'll be lucky to retain League status the rate we're going and I dont think it will be gradual.
  17. Then Mowbary plays Giles out if position.
  18. indian pride is very serious in their business world, they can`t offload the club because they`de take a huge loss and would be a laughing stock among the circle of commerce, they`de then be shunned and become bad karma, the caste system, honour, pride and reputation are massive in india thats my take on it,they`ve had enough of owning a football club, but can`t get rid of it,so we are now a tiny corner in their empire that they are willing to just keep it existing
  19. Rev, when you were scribing for the Telewag did you get "suggestions" in what you should write or get negative feedback from any official entity for what you had written. Are you sworn to secrecy? Just curious if you had a knowledge if it. Different regime at the time but did you experience anyone trying to guide what you wrote?
  20. Capone was brought down just for TAX EVASION ...lol
  21. Parking prices increased...low pay staff having to pay for parking ...Sky sports removed from the blues bar ....wouldnt surprise me if the next step is charging people to take pictures of the statue of Uncle Jack Years of hell for us long suffering supporters and it doesn't look like ending anytime soon.It Is all very depressing
  22. Was the S Was Sunderland a Sunday afternoon game for some strange reason? Got beat 3 nil.
  23. Today
  24. I'm not paying anything to go into a bar when there's perfectly good pubs in the vicinity it's them we should be supporting
