He got a sideways move to Derby, not a big club, where your other big hero is laughably hardly top of the league ripping it up like you stated he would with absolute certainty. The Beach Boys, as currently set up have not been worth seeing for a long time. Mike Love managed to get the rights to the name a long time ago and has been peddling a greatest hits band since then. The real genius was Brian Wilson and the band that he took back on the road was essential viewing, right from when he recreated Pet Sounds up to redoing Surf’s Up. I saw him at Glastonbury in 2005 but then outstandingly at the Festival Hall and then the Empire in Liverpool in the same week. Either of those was as good a gig as I have ever seen. Sadly, now Brian has gone, nothing purporting to be the Beach Boys is worth seeing.

Gueye out and a new striker in seems fairly obvious, if we can shift him out. I suspect we'll shift both Pickering and Ribeiro out, with the intention of bringing in 2 new defenders in. O'Riordan has been recalled so that'll be one and the emergence of Litherland might have stopped them looking at a backup RWB option. LWB is a concern as Hedges is injury prone and also leaving in the summer (as it stands), De Neve as we know, isn't good enough. Assuming we'll look to address that, should both Picks and Ribeiro leave. Centre mid is a bit of a mess, Tronstad is off in the summer, as is Forshaw. TGH and Baradji are only on loan, Montgomery is injured and Taveres is injured and rubbish. Garrett is injured and probably not up to this level but if assume he's not currently registered anyway. We need a Tronstad replacement (even if they are signed now and loaned out for the season). Realistically any of Forshaw, Garrett, Kargbo, De Neve, Taveres, Gueye and 1 of Ribeiro or Pickering, could leave to free up a squad place/wages but finding takers will be tough as they are injured or just rubbish (or both).

Good result today, and great character shown to grind out a good point. Tronstad again excellent, and Cantwell was also good. The 2 real bits of quality (Alebiosu also falls into this category) who could easily slot into a top 6 chasing side and they stand out in our team. Pratt I think again was really good. Still clearly need to sign a Hyam replacement, but Miller and McLaughlin both did well today. Baradji also showed a lot of promise when he came on, surely he needs to start on Monday. Going forward I thought we was really blunt as I expected. Ohashi is a good partner for a striker who offers more of a goal threat but isnt ever going to be prolific and Henriksson clearly isnt the answer. We need 2 strikers ASAP. The threadbare squad is a real concern and needs to be sorted.

Do you think Waggott individually went rogue and specifically wanted Dennis? And had total autonomy 6 months before he had totally been edged out of the club?

Simply no comparison, Tronstad is a far better player than Travis. I liked Lewis as a committed player and someone who came through the ranks but he was extremely limited as a player.
