We would compete if we had a good manager

Ref has allowed them to barge us off the ball all day. Cashin blocks the run of a Watford player (as they both turn to run for the ball) and it's a free kick. Why? Are you letting players be physical or not, ref? -

What a fucking bleak existence -
Feck knows, face doesn't fit with our Val

At least the manager was right about one thing……, We can’t compete.

11 in blue and white halves - an off-the-shelf Macron kit, not a Rovers kit (we play in reversed halves). These owners can't even be bothered to get that detail right. -
You have to understand the mindset of a significant portion of those still going is that the owners are only responsible for the club still existing and putting eleven players in blue and white on the pitch each week. That's it. No actual ambition for success, just existence. They don't believe the fans or the legacy of the club deserves any more than that.

5 at the back but absolute panic stations and 0 organisation... Valerian Ismael.

Boycott Or Not?
Riverside under the drip replied to BRFCS.com's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think you have to factor in the demographics of each stand. Going to be very stereotypical here but the JW Stand is for the older, well-to-do and for families. The Riverside is again for older fans and some casual fans who want a cheaper ticket for various reasons. The hardcore support, who may or may not boycott, are in the BBE. The empty seats would always appear there in larger numbers. Although I'm sat at home now, my mum is there for all the reasons discussed previously. Aside from a dozen or so long-standing fans in the block and rows around us, the only people close tend to be one-offs plus a couple of extended families where only one person would be even slightly aware of any issues beyond watching a game of football. In short, the boycott looks as I would expect a decent effort to look like... -
They are the very worst types they are too miserable to do anything but turn up and sit there in silence. It's like they thrive off the misery and apathy but can't tear themselves away yet anybody who dares to dream otherwise is 'entitled'.

Miller not used to playing as a regular right back -
It looks a lower gate than normal. I’m not sure what more anyone could hope for. 9k season ticket holders? I reckon the real gate will be below that. Don’t forget Wednesday’s boycotts started only when they stopped paying wages.

What will be the excuse this time with a fair number of players back, Val? -

Sounds like only a matter of time before Watford score. -
Dross stuff as expected.

At least the players did not turn up! Venkys out!
-
Where's Garrett?
-
Christ we need a 2nd solid midfielder
-
But it’s not going to work…..those that stayed away should be outside the ground, protesting, banners, making noise not sat at home watching tele……badly planned
-
Rovers have never historically been a club with an ultras culture, so a mass boycott was never likely. The average fan will fall into two camps: they will either walk away because it's not enjoyable (as evidenced by our plummeting attendances), or they will resign themselves to the status quo and keep turning up out of habit, obligation or routine.

You’ve literally just stated the reason for the boycott………. We are owned and managed by people who do not care!

And that's why we will never succeed with any form of protest (either fill the ground or boycott). Fanbase far too divided far too fickle. Can't quite understand why people support the regime still? 'We were shit in the 70s/80s therefore we must be shit now' folk that won't be told otherwise. -
They'll care when they have to answer questions on it and the threat of being booted off their money earner looms. You are off your rocker if you think they aren't getting into a flap about it, given their fragile egos.
